What do you mean? NWA weren't a manufactured band. OK so probably none of them could play guitar either but they were very good at what they did. With NWA what you saw was what you got. I'm not even a fan on theirs but I have 2 of their albums. Dre went on to produce tracks for (and break the artists) Snoop and Eminem amongst others. As well as squeeze the odd solo project in. Ice Cube had a reasonably successful solo career, then became a movie star. Easy allegedly got killed by Suge Knight. Without looking, I dunno what Ren and Yella are doing. Sad how accurate the "Facist Regime" part really is, what with the protestors being arrested and the general dogma in the ceremonies.

My fav song from the sex pistols.Always interesting how some of the best music comes out from the harshest times a society endures .As England did in the late seventies at the peak of the sex pistols punk era, when social decline was happening eg Brixton riots high unemployment poll tax etc.Then there was blues music during the depression era in the US with racial upheaval.This song was a real one finger up to the royal British establishment.

Give it up. Spending himself repeatedly denied playing these parts, and Jones was more than capable.

It was a period of economic doldrums of the late 70's UK, this song vilified the establishment back then. It's also the favourite song of Rhonda AM Leanne Wood of Plaid Cymru (Party of Wales) during her younger years.

Captain Overcoat Green Day draws influence from the Sex Pistols. They're pop-punk or Punk Rock, not literal Punk. There's a difference.
@TheGrimmCommoner7 жыл бұрын
Liam Walsh Green day are wannabe liberals who wear punk clothing and have one swear word in a few songs. That isn't punk. It's pop in a Halloween costume. Sex Pistols are the epitome of punk.
@honeyfrost33557 жыл бұрын
The Grimm Commoner no, no no no, The Ramones are leagues above The Pistols. The Pistols made one album and now Johnny Rotten is a Trump supporter. Yah about being Punk.
