There's no way around it, and it will go up History lane like a noisy motley Fanfare. To think it was almost never made because after being banned left right and centre from record companies because of obviously the expletives on the album cover aswell,Richard Branson of Virgin records signed them and he saved us all from absolute boredom.

There’s a lot of Hawkwind in the Sex Pistols sound. There’s more psychedelic biker trash there than pub rock. The Jam played really fast and choppy, like Dr. Feelgood. There’s a live album of Sham 69, with Jimmy Pursey with Steve and Paul. Steve could play plenty fast, but Paul pulls everything down to Hawkwind speed. He was a great drummer, but not a speed merchant.
