Hello: I have Vanilla Vibes......fantastic scent! And with your recommendation, just ordered Blance Bete. Now THAT sounds like it can give FDB Santal Complet a run for its money...many of the scent accords are similar according to Fragrantica. Price point is much more approachable and with better sillage,projection and longevity....sounds like a winner. :)

Hibiscus Palm = Beyond Paradise by Estee Lauder. It took me cca half an hour to recall the fragrance in my memory while smelling my wrist and scarf, because I had it some 15 years ago and used it up completely. Your presentation style is irresistible, Justine!

Same. I bought it too and am totally obsessed. Did you also get the vanilla vibes to go with it? I find that the hibiscus palm scent changes after a couple hours dry down, whereas the vanilla vibes stays the same so it helps prolong the amazingness :)

Yesterday I had a chance to check Hibiscus Palm for the first time. I only sprayed my wrist once and kept smelling it until it lasted. I must try it again or order a small 7ml bottle. I think I could really like this perfume. It really gave me this holiday feeling but it wasn’t too much or too strong. It seemed just right🥰 PS. Hi, as I am preparing for my beach holidays, I watched this video with the greatest attention. I love all your recommendations and I am gonna run to the department store to try them all. I was told you can play a lot with body oil + "perfume" to make the scent lasts longer. None of those oils have spf and I would never try on the eau de parfum on the skin for the day. Do you recommend those for night "after the beach" too ? Sorry for the long message !

Hibiscus palm + neroli oranger (MP) is another winning summer combo for me! Neroli oranger is a bit too ascerbic/bitter alone on my skin, and the florals on hibiscus palm soften it into beachy orange blossom goodness

I’ve got a question- when you combine you basically spray 6 times. Isn’t it too much? Especially in summer?

Depends on the type of scent you use. Citruses and light florals are more volatile (disappear more quickly) so don't last as long as woods and spices so I tend to overspray on skin and clothes so I can smell them for longer. Wouldn't use the same amount of sprays for the heavier fragrances.

Oh, my, goodness! You are the first to say this, I think. I adore Josephine’s videos and after watching many in search of the perfect summer fragrance, I purchased a sample size of Hibiscus Palm. It was so awful on me I threw it away immediately. In fact, the smell was so sickening I washed it off rather than wait for the scent to dissipate. I was so sad because I rarely indulge myself.
