when you watch a video where an incredibly talented drummer explains and breaks down an awesome groove but all you can think about is that BPMs makes no sense because the B already stands for beatS so you double up on the plural. Sometimes I don't get how my brain works.

Just takes some time! Focus on sound, touch and accuracy. The speed will come. Once you get acclimated to the patterns then you can really hone down on the subjects you spoke about. You got it! Glad you dug it!
