Being a young adult and sexually active in during the 80's this wasn't aids wasn't a problem or talked about. It was having bloodwork done for supplimental health insurance that this came to light. Without my knowledge or consent they tested my blood for aids which luckily came out negitive. This was not only my wakeup call but scared the crap out of me. I only had 2 sexual partners but both were unfaithful during my relationship with both of them. It really makes you think about all the risks and chances you take with unprotected sex. Even in a relationship it's important for women to advocate for themselves. If men aren't agreeable to condoms or getting tested for STD's before your relationship gets sexual I'd walk. Anyone in a meanful relationship will want to take the time and precautions to do the preventive measures so no one gets hurt.

After hearing of the different disease Inow think twice about playing around and look upon pornography very differently from now on.
