Like, if two people are literally an inch apart, neither can actually hit the other. Weapons should only be truly effective at the sweet spot (front 8 inches or so of a longsword, curved edge of a saber, head of axe/Warhammer If an enemy is 2 inches from me they shouldn't deal damage

If the modding process didn't require a degree in computer programing, we'd have A LOT more mods for KCD. The "Mod Support" that they gave us in the form of videos was an absolute waste of time. They started on step 67 instead of on step one and the Wikki is just confusing.. It's a massive shame because mods would keep this game going indefinitely but here we are 5 years later with nothing exciting happening. Not even an announcement of a continuation of the story. NOTHING. Just a massive let down by Warhorse.

I think I´m gonna cry the first tears in years when they announce the 2nd Kingdom Come game. Played a lot of amazing games that I absolutely love but the emotional connection I have with KCD really stands out. Unbelievable that I ignored this masterpiece for two years until I finally played it when I was bored so I downloaded it because it was on discount😅

I bought KCD during the early promotion and put it on a shelf. I was still in love with WOW (World of Warcraft), but I knew those days were coming to an end from the direction the developers were taking. I wanted a ready replacement for my affections. I installed KCD in 23 (took me awhile to find where I hid the box to keep it safe) The game has not disappointed. It has all the elements that had kept me playing WOW for many years. With KCD I have no need to grieve the loss. There is nothing left for me in the current iteration of WOW, nothing left but memory of what it used to be. I am not to a point yet where I hunger for a second game, still too much to keep me entertained for quite some time.

i just discovered the game, started in hardcore from the get go, the game is amazing, but a bit unforgiving on the "no quick save" part in the beginning. It's like a version of skyrim that respects your intellect and has no magic, it's an absolute blast

I like the colorful arrow feathers so you can find them again. And the save mod ofcourse. If you don't have the pick herb animation you don't deserve the strength gains from it either 😜

I never had an issue with carry weight being a thing as it made it immersive to a point for me. The one I really wanted was the ability to ride your horse again overloaded like you used to be able until they patched it out. Used to be able to ride your hours up to a storage chest and load right up and than carry on. I miss that.

There are mods to manage overload weight. What bothered me were the saddle bags. The optimal bags have a durability of 1, no better than tissue paper. They cost a cobbler fortune to repair. Worst of all, the damage reduces carrying capacity. "Saddle Bag Durability" is a mod that increases saddle bag durability to a reasonable amount. The bags don't have to be titanium. All I ask is tough as leather.

I enjoyed the learning curve for bow shooting. Not having the cursor adds actually having to learn. Some games aren't meant for everyone. Take, yes this is a totally different game, EA's NHL. They watered it down and Fortnighted it for the newer generation of mobile phone gamers. On top of how they put little effort into their copy-paste annual release franchise.

My biggest issue is that due to Henry holding the bow as he is, I can't quite make out where the middle of the screen is. If he was to extend his index finger just to give me something constant to look at, I'd have no problem with it. As it's now, the crosshairs are by no means a guarantee to hit a moving target, but it helps. For stationaries in tournaments, I don't need it.

I think I installed both carry weight and rich merchants before I ever finished my very first play through of KCD. The game essentially becomes unplayable by the mid point if you don't. Once Henry has a full kit, there's almost nothing left for looting. And that's before you consider that you need to carry a sword, mace, and axe along with at least a set of 'stealth' gear if you ever want to be stealthy.

i use the mod that allows spears, and the one that changes how quickly henry gets dirty. I did try the henry grows a beard mod but i don't think it worked. he didn't grow a beard i could see - i grew one irl faster than he did in game haha

5:00 try the game enlisted WW2 squad on squad warfare no crosshairs so you honestly don't know where you're aiming until you aim down sights. The only good news is that all shots have tracers so you can atleast see where the bullet went and you start out with bolt action rifles. So you have time to get used to being on a battlefield with out any aim assist.

Favorite mods.... Make Pebbles Great Again...upgrade Pebbles to all the best horse stats in game. Henry gets to upgrade so why not his loyal horsie? SimsCampingMod....Lets Henry set up camp when out in the countryside. His camp includes a blanket for sleep, a stump for sitting, a campfire with cauldron for food, a book to save game, a burlap sack that gives access to his main storage chest. All the comforts of home except a bath. Since Henry is a hunter and a lone knight adventuring through wilderness, why wouldn't he learn to sleep under the stars? He's a peasant, not a princess.

This game is not set up well do mods, I don't quite understand why bc I'm not a modder yet, but there were a few videos when the GoT mod got the axe, but yeah hopefully it will. It's such a good game and it really deserves a great mod community.

Highly doubt it since to actually make any of these mods you need a degree in Programming. It's really difficult to mod this game hence why many projects were cancelled and only small simple mods are available.

@@mediomarm There are few points why is that. 1) the game at the start was very hard to mod except from life improving etc. and when the modding tools were released hype was already over. 2) Character AI in KCD is extremely complex and hard to get into. 3) There is not enough support for people who start with the mods, as the community was not built and so no-one really knows how to do stuff aside from few videos released by warhorse.

I love the Quicksave mod. You hit a function key and the save completes in seconds with no cost at all. My problem with game saves is the number of game crashes and unanticipated deaths leaving me no choice but to repeat completed tasks. Repetition is boring and wastes my game time. I'm in the habit of frequent saves when I work on the PC and no less so when I play.

I'm going to be that guy, and don't get me wrong I love KCD, and I would change nothing in that game except for the combat; I wish the combat was more like chivalry 2 or Mordhau. side note my biggest complaint about chivalry 2 and Mordhau is they don't have a single player mode. can you imagine a game that had all the RPG elements of KCD and the combat mechanics of chivalry 2. that game would be awesome.

Saving snaps, great idea, it doesn't work. It doesn't make saving valuable, it just require you to invest 4-5 hours in herb gathering and herbalism and have enough resources to save normally.

Game crashes are also part of the game, unintended and undesirable. I want to save at will and at no cost so I don't waste my time and repeat the same steps a second time in a row. That gets old fast.

On what platform, PC? A common PC fix is to revert to the status before the problem occurred (disable, uninstall mods, etc). Check if that removed the problem. If so then begin introducing changes gradually, one by one, and check after each change to make sure the game continues to run fine. There may be a conflict among the mods or a particular mod could be broken or poorly made.

Compromise. No game design is perfect. Why not a mod if it can circumvent what some player considers a deal breaker? What some consider play, others see as work. It is all subjective in a single player game.

This is the problem with the community. The most popular mods just remove features and makes the game more convenient at the cost of immersion and balance. You could have instead mentioned: - Better Combat and Immersion - No Mo Slo Mo - No arrow trails - Rain puddles mod - Color Correction mod - Polearms restored People only browse the top mods in Nexus and see the garbage instead. Just go and buy a fking savior schnapps. Can't afford enough of them? Then you're playing the game wrong. Go back and understand the mechanics.

Is it realistic that Henry must return to civilization every time he needs to catch a nap? He's a peasant, not a princess. Later he learns to hunt and adventure through the wilderness. Such a man learns to camp out in the wild, not drop everything and run to the nearest B&B. Is it realistic that Henry can train his skills but his horse must be traded in like last year's model? We have horse trainers in the real world, no reason Pebbles can't improve.

Oh goodness your last few vids have shown you on horseback and that is the number one reason I’ve tried multiple time to get through the game and can’t. HORSE BOB!!
