This is why I love modding any console I can get a hold of. You can do so much cool stuff with them! I softmodded my Xbox a good while back to make it region free so I could play games like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X and to back up my current library. I'm glad I did it. You also inspired me to get a modded 360 with your last modded console video. Really pleased with mine so far. Just love tinkering with it. Keep up the great work, Roxy! If you are not aware, I recommend replacing the stock HDD. They are up there in age at this point and may die on you. When they do, the console is bricked unless it is softmodded or hardmodded. And since you are playing backups, replace the stock IDE wire with a 40pin 80 IDE wire. Allows for higher read speeds

I believe the Kameo: Elements of Power build for Xbox is nearly complete, but can only be truly finished with a console outfitted with double the RAM of an original retail console. Developer kits had 128MB of Ram to work with while retail units only had 64MB. If you continue the game on a 64MB-console, it will freeze. At least, that's what I experienced when I played it years ago. Perhaps it has been changed... Also... I highly recommend the Buffy the Vampire Slayer video game; truly exceptional 3D Action/Adventure, even for non-fans.

Oh also you've motivated me to get an XBOX --> HDMI adapter (backordered from Electron Shepherd but what's another month or two wait?)... :) so thanks for that my OG Xbox has been gathering dust. It is a 1.6 with Xecuter X3 modchip and it is a shame to not be using it

The easiest modchip installation, probably has to be the xecuter 2.6ce, 3 wire install, with a pin header soldered through the board.

Damn I just sold my old Xbox..I turned a raspberry pi into a retro gaming console using batocera, I have over 7000 games on that thing from all kinds of consoles. Could be interesting if you want to play some retro console games.
