Props to Seymour Duncan for reaching out to someone like Brandon Ellis, not many companies are smart enough to take advantage of their consumer's genius. It seems to me like this would make an amazing 7 or even 8 string pickup!

I got the Blues Saraceno parallel axis back in the 90's i wanted a pickup that sounded good like an emg but didnt need a battery. and omg it was way beyond my expectations. The pickup was so articulate and sounded clear even in high gain and harmonics just pop off with ease with it. so im really glad that Brandon has rekindled interest in the parallel axis pickups. 🤘

I put a parallel Axis distortion PATB-2 in an old Ibanez I had laying around and it's now the best sounding guitar in my collection. Absoltely perfect pickup. Similar to a Duncan Distortion with just a little top end harshness dialed back. Still a very tight pickup without the harshness of a modern metal pickup...perfection.
