@19chua91 I agree, I was v.worried for him after Sylvia performed. I was thinking 'OMG, Sezairi doesn't have those powerful voice like Sylvia'. But I was soo touched by his version. I personally think its not about the powerful vocals but how the singer makes you feels.

i missed the finale erm as a musician myself in my opinion sylvia screwed the notes in this song flats n sharps but sezairi's more steady..n both do have voice acrobatics n sezairis is more stable n sylvia was shaky

Ok. The following comment doesnt concern the 2009 idol..its just my comment. On the next season of singapore idol , i can bet with you that there isnt any chinese going for the audition. Its just useless. I am not saying chinese useless..cus i am 1 of them too. But just see the past few years winner..only malay..

I'm not a fan of idols, I appreciate songs for the way they are sang and the meanings behind the words. I loved this song but I think Sylvia sang it better, she has a more powerful, penetrating voice, absolutely amazing. I think they should do a version together.

Whenever i see Singapore Idol on TV, i didnt bother watching it at all. But then, i watched the finale, and i was so impressed that i decided to vote for him. He did VERY well for the finale! :D

@TheShootmeoff I'm neutral and in New York He did sang from his heart, but sorry, I didn't feel it. Voice and style very run of the mill. Nothing unique. Did he deserve the title? Yes. Had Sylvia put out a better performance that night, she would had blown him away.
