Hello ♥️ the top is so beautiful and incredibly more versatile than I thought it would be!! Glad you liked how I styled it! I’m not convinced about the skirt to be honest haha I love the fact they’re a set, but you know the feeling when you put it on, you’re like: I think a pair of jeans is better actually (puts the skirt away and never reaches for it). 😂 I prefer mini skirts too, if they cinch my waist properly. Otherwise I’m team pants all year round 🤣

I prefer the strap placement on the Paula Babies so much more than the Madewell ones. They look more flattering and interesting to my eye.

Yes, I think aesthetically speaking, I like the straps on the Paula Babies more too! It’s also easier to put the shoe on and off, the Madewell you have to unbuckle one of them 🙊

I got the taupe suede skirt, it has a beautiful fit, but a very strong goat smell. I’m airing it in another room, hoping it will diminish. I loved the matching vest top, too, but I didn’t think I would get enough wear from it. My aging arms are awful-looking (age 63), and it would be too hot for me over a top. I’m a huge fan of the Paula babies for both style and comfort. I just wish they had a closed-heel version for cool weather.

I have never bought anything from Sezane. What has been your experience if you needed to return anything? Was it a big pain to get your refund? Thank you for your videos. They are helpful to me as I learn about Sezane. Right now O am thinking of buying the Lyna Ecru and Ysaline Pink sweaters.

Hi! The returns have been super fast and easy! Once you submit the return online, all you have to do is pack up the items in the original box and drop it off at the post office. It normally gets to them in a few days and they refund right away. There were a few situations where the box never arrived to them or it was delayed, all I had to do was show them the proof that I dropped off the package and then they refunded me right away. I’m glad the videos have been helpful ♥️ Lyna is amazing!! I haven’t tried Ysaljne yet, but looks beautiful!!

I don’t like the Madewell Mary Jane’s nearly as well as the Paula’s, the high placement of the strap cuts off the legs visually. I hope Sezane hasn’t narrowed the toe box of the Paula’s, I already had to size up a half size, but they are still not roomy in the toes. I wish shoe designers would concentrate on making shoes comfortable, not just slimmer- and daintier-looking. If they’re not comfortable, they don’t get worn. I have a dismal “keep rate” with shoes, they turn out to hurt somewhere at least half the time, then I get rid of them. I won’t keep any that hurt when I try them on, but walking in them for an hour is different.

Mila, just a little remark concerning how shoes fit. I am much older than you, however, I have no "things" on my feet because my mom taught me 1000 years ago that shoes should not be broken in, but should fit you from the beginning 😉

Oh my dear please tell me which shoes these are because we all need them! Any brands in particular you recommend? My feet have some bones sticking out here and there and it’s RARE to find shoes that don’t need to be broken in. In fact, except for flip flops, I can’t think of one single pair that didn’t need at least a few wears to be perfectly comfortable. Maybe my Vivaias, but I need more than that for other outfits (leather preferably). Even the Sezane Paula babies that are super comfortable, still gave me blisters on little toes for the first few wears. Designer shoes the same! Feet are tricky, Nette! 10 people who wear the same exact size could have completely different shape (high arch, big toe/little toe sticking out, bones showing on the side, ankle, plant of the foot, the list is long…)

The only material I don’t size up in is (genuine) leather, it stretches out a lot. I prefer a slightly loose fit in other clothes, but learned my lesson with my first leather skirt, it was $500 (Ralph Lauren), but immediately stretched out when I wore it (yes, it’s lined). It’s now much too big, even though I had an elastic waist added.

Oh no I’m sorry that happened to you! $500!! Ouch 😓 I was wondering if the suede would eventually stretch out, actually. I have a few pairs of Sezane shorts and they didn’t change much their shape, just molded a bit to my body, but that’s it. I have been loving leather and suede clothes lately!!

I think they’d look nice with Paula babies, pumps or even loafers, but boots are usually my choice when pants are warm and lined liked these. 😘🥰

I have the Paula Babies in caramel and love them, decided to try them in black too. Unfortunately, maybe because they are patent leather? -- the black ones squeaked so loud with every step! Maybe it's just my sound sensitivity, but I couldn't tolerate it. Had to send them back. 😕 Another great try-on! I put the suede top in my cart. But honestly it's probably not practical for me, I live near Seattle and it rains a lot here.

Oh no 🙊 squeaky sound is a NO for me too! I heard someone say the same actually, but I didn’t experience that. All the Paula babies I tried had the same interior (insole and around the foot), but maybe patent is just more stiff and makes that happen. Same for the fit :( it’s a shame because the shoes are adorable and like you said, so comfortable! Oh yes I think wearing suede in an area where it rains often is not a good idea. It’s a very expensive, so if we don’t find multiple ways and opportunities to wear, I’d definitely pass! I’ve never been to Seattle! Sézane has a pop up store there now!! 😍

Hey Mila! Suede should stretch a little so I think the suede skirt in the smaller size should stretch out in the hips just a small amount!

Now that I can see the blouse on you I hope that Sézane will restock on it. On their website it looked crisp white, which is why I did not order it, but this kind of off-white colour is really beautiful! The lenght looks perfect on you! The khaki ones I will probably send back, although they are also quite nice. But nude and camel are probably more versatile for me. Update: I managed to catch the Yumi blouse from the returns today :-) One size bigger though, but that should be fine.

Hi Mila, does the suede rub off on other clothes when you layer them? I always feel like suede is high maintenance, like I have a Willa jacket in suede but I don’t find myself reaching for it that often as I worry about color transfer or damaging it. Hi! I really love my Betty cardigans, I own 5 and wear them a lot! They’re 100% merino wool and super versatile, in my opinion they’re definitely worth the price. They use L’eau de Sézane to spray the box, it’s a gentle scent that I really love (they don’t spray it in every box though). It’s not too strong and it doesn’t stick to the clothes for too long! 🥰♥️

I normally contact them through WhatsApp , it’s the fastest way [phone] I was asking if you were in the US to see if the time zone would be very different from Paris time. @@Aurora-sl3kk the alerts only work for actual restocks (new produced pieces), unfortunately, not for returned pieces. ☹️I used to wait and wait for an email to tell me something was available again and it never came 🥲 I asked Sézane and they explained that to me! I think the best way to score one is to try the exact day/time they restock (from returns). That’s usually on Sunday and Wed 9/9:10am Paris time. I’ll be rooting for you 🎉🎉🎉
