Hi Jamie! Such beautiful, unique, feminine pieces. They suit you very much, and no, I can't imagine that white would work well for you at the moment! I love how the ecru scalloped neck cardi looks on you, but again not sure how it would fit with your lifestyle at the moment because it is quite light. And thank you for replying to my old comment today. I thought you'd missed it, but you've found it and replied! I was shocked that you did. Thank you for meticulously replying every time. I can't believe it. Thank you so much for this! The print dresses are fun, aren't they? Are you enjoying wearing the one with a geometric print you featured a few weeks back? Wishing you a wonderful week ahead and a quiet peaceful Monday to yourself!

I never miss a comment! Sometimes just takes me a while to get to them as the way it’s filtered through in the back end on YT is most recent first so I usually start at the top and make my way down. If I’m replying a couple weeks late you know I’m behind 😅 And yes I am! Great memory 😚😚😚 Not baby free today as our son is sick but making the most of his nap time 🙊 Hope you have an amazing week Natalya 🥰🥰

The blouses were definitely my favorite pieces! For bodysuits have you tried ASOS? Since they have a designated "tall" section they might have some good options. Not sure about the quality, but could be worth a look.
@mademoisellejaime

Actually ASOS’s tall section is FAB! I have a hard time finding one piece swimsuits which actually fit my and it’s one of the few brands which has tall options which actually are nice 🙈 I’ve not thought to check there for bodysuits but perhaps I might give that a go. Thanks so much for the suggestion Heather! 🥰

Right?! I wish they would just do ghost imagery (product imagery on a white background) as this would make it so much easier. Even simple model shots would be great. I think this why as beautiful as their items are, I always have such a hit or miss experience with them. Probably doesn't help that I'm so fussy about fabrics too :) Thanks so much for watching Jo and hope you have a great week ahead x

The blouses were really the only items that appealed to me from this order, and for myself I prefer the ecru cotton one - but the other makes obvious sense for you, and is a little different. Sezane as a brand doesn’t really grab me for some reason, and I found your comments on the fabrics very interesting, as I too take a lot of notice of composition. Maybe I’ll take a look in the London store when I am confident enough to visit again!

I think if I'd managed to purchase that ecru shirt in the pale blue, I may have felt more inclined to keep it as it was such a special shirt. They do have some gorgeous pieces but it is very hit or miss, especially if you can only shop online like me. They've been introducing a lot more natural fibre pieces into their collections and in my experience, those are *always* the ones I find are the nicest! :)

I was looking for a long sleeved black mesh bodysuit. Initially I shopped on Far Fetch and was getting a Jonathan Simkai bodysuit but a day after I ordered it my purchase got mysteriously cancelled. In the end it worked in my favour because I found a similar item on ASOS Tall for a fraction of the price. Reason I mention this is that it is very long in the torso and there was a good selection of styles and colours.

I love a boat neckline for sure! I looked into it before having a baby, and at the time my "type" was so far removed from my personal style. Perhaps something to look into again when I have a free moment!

To be honest, the Lia Dress looked perfect on you, even better than on the model of the website. Definitely a key piece! I bought several times from Sézane (Germany is just in the neighborhood of France :-)), but I have to order very carefully as they are indeed very special as an online brand....can’t wait to visit the store in London as soon as traveling is possible in Europe. It is so important to feel the fabric of the items. So your experiences you share in your video is helping a lot if you consider to order 👍

My experience with Sezane knits has been similar. I'm not keen on some of the yarn mixes they use, and the cardigans in particular are often cut too short and wide for my body type. I also don't like the way their balloon sleeves fit under jackets. However, I do have a beautiful collection of shirts, blouses and t-shirts from Sezane in 100% silk, cotton or linen and I'm completely in love with them! 😍 xx
@mademoisellejaime

I think I'm going to make a rule from now on only to even consider a knit if it's cotton or merino. My experience laundering any of them with polyamide has not been great and I really don't want to have to go to the dry cleaner all the time. Agree on the blouses! I think that's where the brand shines, especially when they're made in natural fibres :)

I love browsing on the Sézane website, but everything you mentioned stops me from pressing the button and ordering. I love their pants and jackets. I’m not sure what their return policy is, but we need to consider these things living in Australia. For example, I love Reiss but we don’t have a store in Perth and their online return policy is expensive because you have to pay to return it to the UK. Jess from Fashion and Style Edit has some really good reviews of Sézane on her channel for reference. 🥰

I have never ordered from Sezane and I don't really plan to. I don't feel their pieces align with my tastes, and they are far too overpriced imo. I'm also a knitwear fanatic and the polyamide mixes are a complete no for me. I think the only thing I liked from their website was the Scott trenchcoat, but I will pass for now. There are so many other options out there so I totally appreciate this. I agree that the polyester/viscose/polyamide pieces are just very expensive for what they are, especially when you can get natural fibre alternatives for similar or less. Everlane to me is a great example of a brand that has affordable knitwear options (which are generally much more in line with my style too!). Their visuals/marketing is very good, that's for sure, as even knowing that I still get sucked in. Safe to say I'm not immune! Haha, well, I think I'm often giving into my fantasy self when I do, but right now I have so many great basics I'm at a point where I do want to add in the odd piece which feels a little more special. Suppose that's what keeps me continuing to look at what the brand does!

That was my issue with it - a bit too short and where the final button was placed meant that it could easily end up being indecent... And I know what you mean. Especially if you live in a country where they don't offer free or easy returns. I find it simple enough to return to the local warehouse here in Australia though you usually have to chase up the refund with their customer service team which is a little annoying (though they're always very helpful)

It’s funny isn’t it? You can love the aesthetic of a brand so much, but no matter how hard you try a lot of it just isn’t cut for your body type or what you feel most comfortable *actually* wearing. I think that’s kinda how I feel a lot of the time with Sezane, though I have managed to add a handful of really lovely pieces from the brand to my closet. Ive had that experience too - taken so much into the dressing room often to decide none of it looked quite right on me 😅 over the weekend made the decision that i think it’s just the first floral blouse for me. That was the very first order I made, maybe three years ago now? I said in that video that it was a first impression - ultimately I didn’t do my own due diligence when ordering; I neglected to look at composition as I took the word of other influencers and who talked about the brands use of natural fibres and sustainability - and I did want to give them another chance, and have gone on to purchase multiple items since. I do find the brand hit or miss for me, so you need to do your homework or at least scrutinize purchases carefully

I don’t buy from Sezane, they are very size-exclusive. I’m a mostly medium US, occasionally large to accommodate my fuller bust, and according to their size chart, nothing would fit me. Yes, I could buy shoes and accessories from them, but why? I don’t like to support elitist brands like them, and there are so many other great brands out there, in average sizes. Also, their styles are often too-girlish, I like more sophisticated styling.
