It’s amazing what goes into these products I use daily. We take for granted all the hard work companies put into developing their products. At times we complain about the price but this puts into perspective at least for me as to why products are expensive. Thanks for this video I really enjoyed it!

I love watching this stuff because it takes many steps from development to manufacturing to sales to get it to the consumer, just like what I do in the wine and spirits industry. I am very intrigued on how it takes so many processes and steps to make it to the market to an open and freely traded market and then if the product doesn’t sell? I just find that type of stuff amazing Matt.

@@c6z061 lol well I can't be certain but it's incredibly easy to reverse engineer chemistry when you do long enough. Especially when it's chemistry of the same industry. I'm sure he left out a few things more or less but I get the feeling he just flexed on Adam's super hard, only they will know for sure: )

This was super interesting! I always wondered what effect fragrances (which are usually esters) and dyes (which are usually organic azo compounds) have on the functioning surfactants and lubricating agents in car soaps.

How many gallons of Beadmaker do I have to buy to get a P&S shirt like that?
Freaking cool! Not everybody are willing to share and educate. Speaks a lot of about the company and specifically Dave! Kudos! Been using some P&S products on my car. Bead maker, Paint gloss and Brake buster. (Paint gloss for me really have a great smell)

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. Something I learned in chemistry was to never hang your nose directly over a product to smell it, but to wave your hand over it towards your nose to limit the risk of being intoxicated by said product.

Matt, I am testing out a 32oz bottle of their auto shampoo. My go-to shampoo is always Adam's shampoo, but my initial thoughts on this shampoo is that it is slicker than Adams and clings to the car better. I'm using a PF22 and a 1322ts. Are you going to try P&S's shampoo out? I'm really impressed with it for the money.

How come its not as concentrated as adams or other typical car shampoo’s? I notice that the P&S pearl is very diluted feeling and usually takes twice as much product to foam as well as say adams.
@GregoryVeizades5 жыл бұрын
Foam is not a good indicator of soap concentration. Some very concentrated soaps don't foam a lot like Rupes' in house shampoo. Viscosity is also not a good indicator of concentration. Most extreme concentration shampoos like CarChem 1900:1 have the viscosity of water.
