A generation is 30 years, not 100 years. I wanted to point this out because I just learned it myself! So that's 10 generations ago the Declaration of Independence was produced, not 3. STILL, not that long ago in terms of technology's advancements.

Yes, I guess it is a language problem. It was 3 lifetimes ago, not 3 generations. Jesus was only 20 lifetimes ago! :D
