SF5 Forester Review

Today I review my friends SF5 Forester Stb.

Sweet car! Altho the suspension thingy, IF your not worried about getting the car low, like IF you want to track it, just get wrx or 04sti coils, fits perfectly on these cars. Im on 05 Sti takeoffs, had to weld spacers plates in the front since the 5x114 Sti hubs after 05+ are a bit beefier that the skinny. 5x100 as on the sf5 :)

Love the possibiities with the SF5s. I may pick one over the Legacy just for the simplicity (in comaparison) of the single turbo EJ205 vs the twins on the Leggy.

Hey, Love your vids! Watching this one pushed me to purchase a Forester S/Tb from B-Pro Auto. Quick question for you as there was a seat swap done on this car, will the USDM seat brackets work or did they require modifications? I purchased Braum seats and Planted brackets for the 93-07 impreza but don't want any surprises! Thanks

MrDafloof That's my foz. It has seats out of a 2008 USDM wrx. They fit fine with the 08' rails, but the rear rail covers from the foz don't fit. The jdm rails won't easily swap over to the usdm seats, they would need modification.

Just-a-Toaster thanks for the info. I have brackets that claim to fit 97-07 impreza wrx and sti so I will know by next week if those will fit or not. I went with Braum racing seats and planted brackets. Thanks again!

I had a SF5 manual S turbo uk version of the stb exactly same colour paid £1500 it done well but the rear subframe rotted away and fell off ! 😂🤦‍♂️ so i sold it got 10 months and 11.000 miles was amazing in snow
