I was there last night. It almost made me cry as a long time Tekken player that these Tekken pros has graced the Filipino Tekken community with such finesse and their "Tekken" prowess. It's really rare to see pros like these duke it out on my country throgh a local FGC tourney. Knee and JDCR are my top 2 favorite players of all time. I almost cried seeing them shaking hands after a match.. It happened here!! In Philippine soil! History!!!! Mad props for Tasty Steve and Markman for commentating. Tasty Steve is always on point with his comedic commentary and Markman for his knowledge of the game. Great balance.. great synergy.. nothing a Tekken enthusiast could ask for. I am crying as I am typing right now, This is a once in a lifetime event that I will never forget my whole life. I really thank the TOP 16 for making July 9 2017, easily one of the best days of my life. Let's go JDCR! Let's go Knee! Spread the Tekken love guys. :D

God knows how long I have been watching Knee videos on youtube and seeing them pros play here in the PH gives me chills. Well, to put it simply, Tekken is my passion.

Congratulations to JDCR for winning this tournament but obviously knee has a lot of fans. He's so good. His combos, set ups, pokes and spacing is so beautiful to watch. Great to see them handshaking after the match. Looking forward for more of these.

renz sanvictores So you are telling that doujin is not Philippine's best player?I think except for Doujin, the rest of PB team is not as good. AK's movement is not good. But Doujin is excellent. Playing casual matches in a mall is different from the pressure at playing in a tournament. For example the pinoy player gold_standard is almost unbeatable in the Philippine mall that has is playing with. But in this rev major tournament he did not even make top 16.
@aaronfigura56777 жыл бұрын
There's also a lot of good filipino tekken players here in our country but when it comes to tekken, correct me if I am wrong but they don't have a chance beating these japanese and korean players. Their experience and how they handle the pressure/game in the tournament is so unmatchable. Doujin i think he's the best filipino tekken player. He's the only guy that at least can compete with these great players. In this tournament obviously jdcr showed us that he's a tough man to beat, his depense and pressure skills is so scary but when it comes to knee, knee showed us that he is the one and only legend. His gamestyle is pure beauty, really fan to watch. Anyway so far this is the best tournament I've ever seen. I am so happy that my main mans knee and jdcr did a shakehand at the end.

@akiratoriyama25287 жыл бұрын
Taimoor Mubashir It is you again crying. You are following me lol. I am a Filipino, so I know that Filipinos roots for the underdog. JDCR dominated Knee in vsl1 and vsl2. JDCR beat, Knee in winners finals. Knee also lost 10 straight tournaments at Tekken 7. So it is logical, that Knee is the underdog against JDCR. Against other players, Knee might be the favorite, but against JDCR(or maybe Saint) he is the underdog. Don't be an idiot. Use your brain and not your butt hurt emotion. LOL. I am from Philippines, JDCR has many fans in the Philippines. Also, Knee has bad personality and does not have good relationship with MOST Korean players. KkoKkoma even sued Knee over something. Channel is the only one that hangs with Knee. Now with Channel, Knee is improving his personality.

I know right ? Asuka was my first character back in Tekken 6, but then she was too slow comparing to my friends's Lili, Alisa and Christie, I had to main Xiaoyu instead. Though I suck at her too lol. I wonder if Asuka got buffed in Tekken 7 ?
@iris0897 жыл бұрын
Hieu Vu Not really. Everyone got quicker in this game. Asuka doesn't have too many quick low attacks. And considering Dimeback managed to go to Top 8 using Asuka is a great achievement. I want him to go further. I'm tired of seeing Dragunov, Feng, Jack and Paul winning these Tekken tournaments.
