What a fun matchup! Question: why don't more players use JP's ranged throw? I feel like I never see it in high-level play. Is it too predictable or something?

Using it from range is actually useles at high level because it’s easily reactable by a top player. It has a very obvious animation and sound voice cue. The only good way to use it is in specific setups at close range but the way to make those setups work is to only use it super rarely so your opponent won’t be ready. At lower levels you might be able to catch people holding parry but top players prefer to perfect parry JP instead.
