When you do a charge move in SF6 (SBK in this case) you have 10 frames after releasing down to press Up+K. This is according to some Guile resources, but Chun feels the same. Chun's s.LP is 4 frames, so as long as you can make that hit within that 10 frames, you can cancel to SBK. Release down as close to when you're pressing LP as you can -- you have six frames of leniency before the LP input, though it is weird to execute.

@@mahzo7885 It generally depends on your rhythm and how early you press buttons. Personally, I have more success when slowing down the LK,LP,LP inputs but doing the up and LK as early as possible after the LP. The cancel window is fairly strict so you have to do it fast.

Is there an easy way to time the (SS hk, j2mk>j2mk>jhp>jhp) for 2lk#9? Or off of ex sbk? I feel like I'm guessing my timing every combo.

Unfortunately, timing changes per launcher (stance, CA2, SBK). But generally, I do the first 2MK at the earliest points, delay the second 2MK then immediately do HP, HP. It also might help looking at the height where the second 2MK hits.

The drive rush one at 3:49 that can be interrupted by the opponent can it not? Everytime I do the diagonal overhead the opponent can grab me or jab me before I do the next move

Are you talking about the ↘HP itself? Then yes, it can be countered. For these type of moves to hit, you have to first condition your opponent to block a certain way. If you are just doing DR in neutral then you're most likely going to get countered but if you do it during okizeme, strings or combos, it's more likely going to hit.

I recorded the safejump combo several times on the dummy and I just can't get a timing down where it beats both wakeup throw (whiffs) & DPs (too late, get hit) Is it just really hard? Juri's safejump is a lot easier

I haven't tried Juri so I can't really compare. But yes, it is difficult since jump timing will change based on how you time the aerial combo (you might have to slightly delay your jump depending on how high the second aerial HP hits). The heavy HRK ender is easier though since the timing is set.

@@max917 I'm assuming you get your stance to come out but the LK is coming out too slow and not comboing. If that is the case, you can try entering commands early. Most modern fighting games will allow you to do this thing called buffering inputs. You can do inputs ahead of time but it will still be executed. If you slow down the video and look at my inputs, you can see ←HP is entered while LP is hitting and by the time HP hits, I've already completed my QCB P.

Ryu and chun li are my best fighters. I just wish I knew how to do her fireball and the helicopter kicks. I can get the inputs down for shit

Those moves require the first direction to be held down for a certain period of time. For example, the projectile requires the back to be held then forward and punch. Try that out and see if it works. As a side note, you can hold down + back to charge both projectile and Spinning Bird Kick. Good luck!

@fernandaandrade6915 the only time it's instant is after one of her stance moves. Otherwise you're holding down a bit for the move to come out.
