Get in his face, or play fireball game from distance. Mid range is where Ed excels. Akuma fireball game is far superior.

Yes, once you get close range you have an advantage. At mid range stand your ground, don't try to jump in. EX Hadoken is also good mid range against him. I think it's not called "EX" in this game, but yk what I mean haha Also, try to react quickly to his superman punch, it's easy to counter if you see it coming & react in time.
