hello. i cannot get the combo at 7:50 to work. i tried crouching / standing opponent. it does not connect meaty (in your video , i think) and forward+MP (overhead) is always +6 for me, i cannot connect standing medium punch after the overhead :(? help.

Sorry, I forgot to add in the balance changes that Guile has some extra changes, like his overhead on hit now is not +7 so you cannot do your S.MP anymore, that's why that combo is not connecting anymore.

Some of these are incorrect, e.g. 8:02: Bazooka Knee, Cr.lp xx Hk FK. It's impossible if not on Counter-Hit. You must've set the dummy to No Block as opposed to, block after the first hit. The latter being a lot more realistic.

You mean in combos? you need to make sure to hold 2.5 seconds, for example if you walk forward the opponent then you do Crouching Light kick, crouching light punch then Flash Kick, most of the time you will not be able to do the Flash Kick because doing those 2 buttons, do not cover the 2.5 seconds holding down, so my advice is to try slowing down those combos a little, like doing C.LK, wait a few frames, C.LP then flashkick and it will come out XD same with the target combo C.MP x2, if you do it fast, the flashkick wont come out but if you wait a few frames before doing the second C.MP and flashkick then it will come out XD I hope it helps

I am glad its helpful man, thanks for supporting and also just make sure to test the normals for Guile, I believe his S.MP and Overhead were changed on hit, the Overhead was +7 on hit but now is +6 so you cant do S.MP after the overhead connects because this normal is 7 frames. also his B.LK changed, it doesn't reach far so the sonic boom loops are gone now.

I am using a Ps4 controller now but at the time I made the video for Guile, I was using an Xbox 360 controller. Now if you ask me what is better for Guile, I would say a Hitbox 😁

I still can't figure out how to do drive rush combos, I think I keep doing them like roman cancels but should I treat them like a focus cancel instead cause if so then I'm in trouble cause I'm not good at using that either, any tips are welcome

Sure, you will get used to it so no worries, my advice is to start practicing in the demo, for the combos you will find 2 methods for using Drive RUsh, one is to cancel Drive Rush which consumes 3 Drive bars, this is the easiest because all you have to do is tap forward twice, for Example with Ryu if you want to do a simple punish combo, you do: Crouching Heavy Punch, tap Forward, Forward (Drive Rush Cancel) then Standing Heavy Kick, Crouching Heavy Punch, QCF + Medium Kick (Donkey Kick) + Super level 3,. You spent 3 bars doing the Drive Rush Cancel with a simple forward forward after a normal so thats the easiest way of doing a Drive Rush Cancel, no need to hold MK+MP, just tap Foward twice after a normal move that is cancellable like his Standing or Crouching Heavy Punch, Medium Punch or Crouching Medium Kick. Also you need to learn how to Instant Drive Rush because this is usefull in combos, like with Ryu but not sure if you are having time just with Drive Rush Cancel combos or with instant Drive Rush

For some reason, the perfect sonic boom doesn't come consistently for me while in combo. But if it's done without combo it's very consistent

Yeah it happened to me as well at the beginning but don't worry, just make sure to press the button at the same time with forward and you will see that little by little you will start getting those perfect sonic booms more frequently. Also during the combo, I noticed that if you try to buffer the (forward+punch) to throw the sonic boom while doing the combo, is kind of harder at the beginning so just try not to buffer it too much, like for example doing: Holding back S.MP, C.MP, wait till the moment you can do forward+punch because is easier instead of doing Holding back S.MP, C.MP and doing (buffering) immediately Forward+Punch so maybe that's why you are having troubles because doing perfect sonic boom using the buffering method is hard lol

Thanks 😅 as per the SF6 beta... I am playing the cracked version, same as when SFV came out, many were playing SFV cracked version. In regards of the SF6 Cracked beta, I have meet with some pro street fighter players which I will not mention, but some have been playing it locally and online (on a AWS server), I feel jaelous because I don't have anybody to play with, except the CPU.. lol but hopefully.... they open another beta so I can play with real people again :(

I have this big issue where I see people performing a flash kick or boom without fully charging. Is there some tech I’m missing (like a charge buffer) or should I bind a trigger to crouch? This has me really triggered because I cannot use guile in a sufficient way. I see people using his moves like he’s a normal character but I have to wait for a whole second before I can do anything special move related. Please help 🙏

No worries, the reason why you cannot do it, is because it requires a Hitbox, Keyboard or some kind of pad with modifications so you are doing fine, I have the same problem because I play on a regular pad so is kind of impossible for me to do it. With a Keyboard or even better a Hitbox is easy because you can walk forward or back while holding down at the same time so they can perform a flashkick while moving... lol so don't worry, you are playing fine, I did try Guile online for the first time and he is very strong, I will upload some content later :)
