Why is it that in these videos DPs are always successful? It always seems like the dudes in these videos never go for DPs unless they work, and it shouldn't be the case to be right on every guess. There's no way to react to the 4-8 frames of a meaty jab's startup. Is there some 'tell' to watch out for, to judge if an aggressor is trying to pressure oki or not? I realized it when 4:45 happened and that was genuinely the first time I've seen a DP get blocked...

Nop, they are just extremely good at guessing. They gather data throughout the match to make the decision and get a successful DP, they are just pretty good lmao

Its purely guesswork from knowledge, such as not dping to a obvious safejump. A lot of FG decisions are preemptive instead of reactive
