Awesome games! M. Bison looks tough but not "broken", Akuma got in there lots of times and could have won. Kakeru is getting better and better with Bison, can't wait for a proper tournament!

Requires a lot of set up before hand to do it. Need psycho mine planted, need opponent to be Akuma so he can bleed at a gentle touch, need corner to avoid crossover from OD head stomp

@@mercturqnever had any issues with OD headstomp causing a side switch. I usually am always on the same side (yes referring to midscreen.) i think, at least with the first OD head stomp, if you are switching sides then you are canceling into it tooo late.

@@gustavobaez5080 it’s japanese slang for “wake up game” or grounded op control. Super important in 3D fighters sense they have more ground options while laying down. For Akuma here he’s in position to apply pressure faster than if he were to use DP. This allows for meaty buttons or fireball set ups or even go for throw loops! Give it a try in training and see what you can cook up

I am not a good Street Fighter player. I may be Amateur to mid at best. If someone can explain Why do the pro players hardly ever use DP to punish jump in attacks?. From my amateur perspective it seems like an easy exploit and a free pass to jump in. Again I am not any good asking If there is a genuine reason for this.

People do use DPs in neutral to anti air, but there are some times where it will not work. Safe jump is an attacking technique where your jump attack lands at the last moment, and you are safe against DPs and most supers. Many characters can attack with a safe jump after certain knockdowns. Also, there are certain characters that can bait out DPs. For example, Jamie's dive kick and Dictator's Devil Reverse can dodge DPs for a big punish.

Also something to keep in mind is that a DP is always going to be at least 3 frames slower than any normal attack you use because of the input required to perform it. Likely even slower because most people can't consistently do 4 frame DPs.

He got to comfortable relying on just guard that after Kakeru adapted he was able to apply his pressure and overwhelm Ts toward the latter end of the set. Still would have made it closer but Bison takes the set overall
