Naruo makes the character work at a higher level than I ever could, but JEEZ they gotta give my boy something to compensate for the alcohol dependence

The alcohol mechanic doesn't fit well with the rest of his kit it looks like.

Personally they should remove the damage nerf from the earlier stages and make some of the moves earlier

I’m guessing casual or custom room since there is isn’t an MR change between the different matches? Just wondering though what’s the significance of it being casual or ranked? No shade just trying to understand your point of view.

I know he strong and all, but the style of Naruo playing Jamie is boring I guess that's why he have good defence but anyway boring gameplay

I can definitely agree with you that is it kinda boring and not as flashy as Jamie is supposed to look but he has too many moves/setups that are way too risky and don’t give enough reward to justify that risk. I think Naruo sees this and plays the most optimal way to play a low tier and plays defensively

My main issue with Jamie is that he struggles to get in and when he's in he doesn't have good pressure tools to stay in. The cr.Mk > first hit rekka is much harder than say, cr.Mk > fireball since it has to be spaced much more easily. His long reach normals are also laggy with small cancel windows if any. He struggles long, mid, and close range. So he's strongly incentivized to play conservatively when it feels he should be flashier and aggressive

⁠@@Jorgec224personally from experience in modern. You can have that aggressive playstyle in low level. However it’s a lot harder when you play someone with a fireball
