The donkey kick level 2 is quite interesting, almost as much damage as level 3 and he gets a full corner carry from it.

It’s super underrated. I’ve been doing a lot more and nobody expects you to be plus in their face like that. Ryu’s level 2 is much better than we thought it was tbh, if you’re in the corner w denjin stock, if you OD denjin hashogeki you get a full level 2 charge as well. it’s very meter efficient and the rolling state the opponent is left in let’s you set up a safejump w drive rush 2hp heavy donkey kick. That’s like 5k damage and continued pressure. More Ryu’s need to use his level 2 imo
