Thank you! The AI really does wonders. I actually lost my voice in 'Nam and what you've been hearing has been artificially generated since about 2014.

I agree. But Ryan needs to improve on speaking his mind more freely. He is way too careful about finding the right words - which I can respect - but it breaks the flow of whatever he is trying to express.

With much respect and humility I saw both you and Mike Ross playing SF6 beta and I would just like to say I could watch you two play anything. Apologies if I am out of line. Great podcast.

I think you guys are too naive. Online only works "locally", meaning if you want to play people outside of the US, I bet everything I have there will be lag and other configuration problems. So stuff like Marn won't happen anymore, unless he flies to the states and then plays online which kinda defeats the point of saving a budget. I wish we could all just have online only tournaments and neglect offline, but that won't happen since they don't put enough effort in the netcode and optimization. Then you have the Wifi Warriors which would have to be banned etc. Too many problems imo. Also, it's naive to think that there is more budget, because you forget one simple thing called: Greed.

You're right, it probably won't work for international games. That said, the idea behind the hybrid regional is that instead of needing to travel to a place in the middle of nowhere you wouldn't go to otherwise, you can instead choose a place that you and the homies would like to visit and stay there. There's "more budget" in the sense that most people who would be traveling to more tournaments aren't, therefore they theoretically have more money to spend on other things.
@IronKnee963 Жыл бұрын
@@crosscountertv I perfectly understood that in the video. What makes you think sponsors won't be greedy? There is no incentive to use those savings in the budget.

there might be a case for the people fighting in a match may have copyright over it. in sargon of akkads law suit over the fair usage of chopping up someone elses video but not apply any sort of voice over (so its "transformative" nature is also in question) but what ended up ruling in his favor was the desicion that "because it is sargons channel that in itself is fair use and exempt from damages because no one going to sargon would be a patron/viewer of or expect a video from the person persons video hes parodying" the person it self distinguished copyright and fair use if we dial this back to fighting games, lets say you take replays of daigo playing sf6 and make a ryu compilation. daigo might have grounds for copy right because those clips are only watched because of him, no person is going to those channels expecting to see yogaflame but a pro player. if two players were to have the same match, the same moves people would be more interested in the one with the label "daigo" the some rando. "daigo", or any pro player in that matter may have a case since the fact that its them may be transformative and their own copyright at that point. this is all speculation and theory but its a question we need an answer for
