Try hold forward and 1x backward, down P (DP). Keep holding forward and repeat the backward, down with K for lv3 super.

You are right! But with the scheme forward+backward=Neutral this always work for the combo dp+super

Thanks for each of the videos you have created like this. I just started using hitbox types of controllers last month and doing this type of stuff is still hard for me at the moment. If you will do more videos that teach like this it would be greatly appreciated. Would you do a video where you go through all of Ryu's combo trials on Hitbox and explain the nuances of getting through each trial. For the life of me I can't do the end of intermediate combo trial number 7, or the first three advanced combos. Also could you do videos that show how to easily go into supers from regular buttons such as Hard Punch, Heavy Kick, Crouching Medium Punch etc.

Way easier to: Hold forward, press down+back, release down+back, punch press down+back, release down+back, kick

The reason I don't like the holding forward method is because it feels more difficult to use in a combo. But I could be missing something.

@@braverix0117 It's the challenging part it feels like, anyway. This is super easy to do from raw DP into SU3, but way harder even when you can use s.HP. But I feel the issue is the same with the original method?

626 is actually an unacceptable input for DP. You have a 3 in there which makes it work. A clean 626 will not DP.
