These 2 characters are all I see in ranked, and they're boring asf. The game still great but ranked and casuals be filled with 2 of the same character.

Bison as a really linear and boring gameplay while akuma is the whole contrary but yeah it's boring to watch

If you're Master Rank, then Akuma is the most popular character and Bison is the 4th most popular character. But in lower ranks, Bison is only 10th most popular, and you should encounter him only 3% of the time, according to the published Character Usage data. I wonder if there are other regions like yours where Akuma and Bison are literally all you see in ranked, assuming that's what you meant.

In the higher ranks, yes, these are two characters you'll see consistently bison and akuma but it isn't really that much different from any other popular fighting games in higher ranks. To combat this issue properly, or at least how I see it, they should add some buffs to lower tier ( and certain mid tier ) characters to balance it all out. That way, we can see more types of match ups online AND tournaments

I'm 1600 MR i don't see that many bisons lately. I see alot of eds though. This is far from boring to be though.. amazing footsies from both players

​@@grumpysnail28 Buffing lower tiers begs the question: *what is a lower tier?* In Platinum rank, E. Honda, JP, Blanka, Dhalsim, have the _highest total win rates_ . In Diamond, Terry has the highest total win rate followed by the 4 in Platinum. In Master, Terry, E. Honda, Dhalsim, Kimberly, JP have the highest total win rates.🤷‍♂
