Angrybird is the killingest of the killers. I will say that in the era of everyone switching to Hitbox/leverless controllers and saying how stick is obsolete that the Grand Finals of Evo was between an arcade stick player (Angrybird) and a pad player (MenaRD). Arcade stick and pad aren’t obsolete yet!

​@@RedShogun13 In modern fighting games, best controller is gonna be what the player is comfortable using their character with I play Nagoriyuki on pad in GGS, but I switch to Stick for I-no. I play Gief on stick, and Lily on pad in SF6 Most games are made to account for all sorts of stuff now. You can talk hypotheticals all you want, but those mean nothing if you can't match them, and no one ever will. So its best to go with what helps you sync with your character the most Older games is a different convo though

they actually said before the tournament that the birds were the best in the world, Daigo style is less flashy, i would like to see them play, Daigo was playing really well, but ended falling to Mena's bait, Daigo was beating Mena pretty well and Mena even counterpick and barely won because of Daigo attacking when Daigo should wait, but daigo is like that, Mena was baitiing him to throw the super and it worked.

The way he focuses more on survivability while being patience also while trying to make openings for him to land hits and ends up with deadly combos eventually can tell his play style are a lot more different from Daigo and Tokido who choose to risk getting hit while trying to land some hits. He's been trying to avoid being hit while reading his opponent like mad crazy level. A well deserved champion I'd say.

As I said before, time will tell if he is as good as he seemed in the early matches in the game. I didn't believe AngryBird was that good in the beginning because his opponents from clips really were doing stupid things. I gladly am eating those words following EVO. He made me a believer. He really is on another level. I do, however, give Oil King and the other predominantly SF5 Rashid players a pass because the character was too new. I also give out one other player a pass thos EVO and that is Tokido because there is no Akuma yet.

Also Mena plays both Luke and Blanka in tournament, and placed 2nd at Evo. He's the champion because his character happens to be the strongest in the game. Let's not make it all about skill here. Character choice has got a lot to do with it too.
