There are many times when Dalsim could have won the fight but he was playing around doing slow fighting moves like the spinning head butt move that made him lose but he did an amazing job I feel like he really knows how to play Dhalsim which is rare to see.

I dont think it’s playing around, it’s working out what works as you learn the match-up as you go along.
