It's weird to see so much neutral in this game cause is not design for that.@@SuperiorParker

3:00 I was very surprised that EndingWalker jumped away from Mena in the corner with a big life lead and a pretty advantageous position. I personally think he jumped away from him because he didn’t feel confident in corner-pressuring him into burnout and taking the dub with the drive-gauge he had left. Instead, he spaced himself away from Mena to gain drive-gauge back to play it more safe and gamble in neutral with his life lead.

this is how bad fighting games are now that they think giving up free corner pressure = a pro strat lmao it doesnt get any better than this, lets not forget that Ryu has absolutely no neutral whatsoever in this garbage game

Both did great spacing each other out, but even though EndingWalker played better, Mena came out on top with those bread-n-butter Luke combos, well-time uppercuts and super attacks. ¡Eso es todo, Mena!

I’ve never understood why pro players do projectiles so close to their opponents when you can easily drive impact them from even midrange and most fireballs other than guile’s and ex can’t recover in time to DI or parry back

I’m pretty sure the idea behind is to basically use it as a poke that can’t be whiff punished. Instead of throwing out stand heavy punch and getting whiff punished and eating 30% or more, just throw out a fireball that leaves no extended hurtbox. Plus at this level they are looking for so much more than the average player, so the mindset isn’t to just DI everything.

@@jabaririchards9544 Yup, they're basically looking for any advantage in every situation... including being occasionally unpredictable. I used to be a pro player in the 90's "arcade era" myself.

@@jabaririchards9544 I get that but most fireball startups extend your hurtbox on startup anyway so even then doing it close up I still don’t get it
