maybe he thought like "I have a 50/50 chance with taking on that lead role to gain us more fans" because he wasn't confident if he can play this role good, but he did, so it was successfull. Normally alot of idols get so much hate, because there are barely idols who are acting good in their first dramas, not even with supporting roles. :)

true and since it will be a long promotion, they have to take care of their vocals. And most of the time they're performances are pre recorded so i think pd's are thinking; why bother singing live if it will be just pre recorded and will have many edited cuts

They are probably singing live but with the backtrack on. So sometime u can hear the backtrack voice and sound too ... when u sing with backtrack on ur live voice blend with it and no always u can hear well the live voice over it ... dawon is pushing his voice and getting the mic closer, with this his voice sounds louder than the backtrack so we can diferentiate it better. We can hear Inseong too, because normally handmics get better sounds than headsets ...
