In a 1/4 mile, the deciding factor isn't top end for 1000cc superbikes. They all have a lot. It's their electronics (wheelie control) and the clutch. At 200hp and over, the difference isn't made with top end, it's made with how well the electronics are managing the power and wheelie. Just so happens that the R1 still has one of the most inefficient wheelie controls because it's basically a 10 year old electronics package. Especially when you compare it to the S1k, V4S and CBR.

@@keo9365 And where did you get that 10 year old electronic package? Yamaha upgraded all electronic drastically over the years just like honda cbr since both of them were japan made. I've seen and compare those two with electronic and they are not that far from each other. Neither bmw S1k and V4.

@carlosrieum1526 Note that its just lower not means by 10-20% like usual. 52% should still deliver great performance and if not, then why should you buy a taycan that limits power at the charge of 52%?... Common sense for people buying sport EV like this with CAP power is messed up.

EV’s have torque vectoring they control each wheel individually to manage the wheel spin also the Ticon has 1035hp

The only EVs that have torque vectoring are triple motor or quad motor ones-this Taycan Turbo GT only has two. However, electric motors can rev from 0 RPM to redline several thousand times per second which makes their traction management far superior to a gasoline powered car’s traction control, which can only use brakes or ignition retardation to cut power a fraction as many times per second to manage traction. That’s why even RWD EVs have next to no wheelspin off the line.

Tbh you don’t even need the top models of bikes lmaooo you don’t need the 30k r1m the regular r1 for 15k is just as fast same thing between the Gsxr-R and the regular Gsxr differences being quick shifter better screen etc
