Thank you something for kate. It's almost 20 years since I caught the train to Melbourne to buy echolalia. I'm honestly thankful for your songs that have made me cry all sorts of tears. Some joy, some euphoric happiness, some pain. Thank you.

"... loneliness is just, just a party in your head, that no one else is invited to." Lmao!! .. so love me some 'Demps-a-fied English.' Fricken Genius! ... Cruisy, bass-E and Soulful! Love ya work! X

That became my favourite SFK song on 2nd Sept 2020 and has remained that ever since. I don't know how Paul does it. I thought there's no way he'd get close to 'The True Sea' again and... boom.

Perfect film clip for this song. Thats what this song conjures up for me visually in my mind when i hear it - travelling, driving, stuff you see out the window, loneliness, the world passing by.

This song just shatters, erases and seductively obliterates all the defenses I've created between my current and past worlds. It's songwriting and musical crafting of dangerous intoxication.

Lyrics Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na You're out there Your reflections just Bouncing off every window in the city And I wonder if you ever wander but maybe I should just get over it I know you are not the, not the frontier but I sure got lost trying to find you I know you keep everything in a room Behind a bookcase On a supercomputer I know when you dream your At your parents house and you cant get out of the car Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na You were blinded I was tall drunk and handsome Atleast thats how I remember it You said loneliness is just, just a party in your head That no one else is invited too Its where you can dance alone too The hidden songs you sing They go absolutely nothing like, nothing like this I know you keep everything in a room Behind a bookcase On a supercomputer And I know when you dream your In your blue bedroom and you cant get out of the car Cant get out of the car Na na na na na na na na na na na Cant get ouf of the car aaah aaah aaah La la la la la la la la la la la la laaa I know you keep everything in a room Behind a bookcase On a supercomputer

Fantastic song and I’m pumped to hear the new album but this film clip is surely taking the piss for all of us stuck in our houses and missing the great cities of the world! Can’t wait to see the band play live again too.

I don't want to be negative because I love this band but I feel like Sell your soul to science was a step up from previous albums. This seems a bit like treading water. I don't hate it but it just seems... Hang on... The guitar just kicked in. Nah it's cool.
@chriswood13352 жыл бұрын
Funny. I’m the opposite. Leave Your Soul isn’t near the top of my list for SFK releases, but I think The Modern Medieval is up there with one of their best releases ever. Definitely an evolution, and a positive one. Seeing them next Saturday, can’t wait to hear these new tracks played live. I remember seeing Paul pay Supercomputer at a solo show in Belgrave well before the album came out and straight away knew the new stuff was going to be a winner. Great song.
