Give it time. At first the creator himself didn't know if he would continue the game series. FNaF 1 was going to be his last attempt to make a somewhat successfull game. Also, they are getting voices and personalities, it's just that he can't make them say too much. You know how people are they, overanalize everything. So, Scott doesn't wanna spoil too much or "missguide" us. He doesn't wanna give us too many hints. And what could he even say? He's a psychopath and a sadist. He's gone too far. We don't have all the details, so stop bitching about everything. Fans like you always do this shit, chill we'll be getting a movie soon. Maybe that'll satisfy you. My understanding is that he at least has or had some genuine love for his family though, right? He did put Michael 'back together' after all, for what it was worth. But yeah, I agree, he could've been a better developed character. It kinda makes it hard to believe that such an evil (almost straight-up demonic) person could have ever even managed to start a family at all in the first place. Perhaps Scott could still provide us with some backstory that explains why or how William became the way he is. Maybe legit demonic influence? Story is crazy enough as it is, it can't get any more unbelievable.

This is extremely late but this deserves a nice critique anyway. Let’s start with the animation itself. In my opinion, the animation was very fluent and solid. In some scenes it did look a little strange, like when Toy Chica was in the vent. It wasn’t very cinematic, which is alight! Not all animations needs to be realistic, and I believe this was a good mix between cinematic and cartoony. 9/10 Next, lighting. The lighting wasn’t the best ever in some parts (like the fnaf 1 and 2 scenes) but it was still remotely decent. The scene where Springtrap had the phantoms behind him and the fire was phenomenal, and the scenes with purple lighting was very calm, yet I could kinda feel the insanity in the air. The effects made it look better. I give it a 7/10. The ambience was definitely my favorite part about this, it was super energetic and rapid, and also a little spooky in some parts. I could really feel Afton’s dread during this, which makes me want to see the whole FNAF story in the shoes of the villain rather than the good guys. The ideas put into this animation were super spot on, I loved each and every one of them! So overall I rate this beautiful art an 85/100%. Very fantastic and I hope to see more work from you, keep it up!
