He was just suffering under that mind control chip! when golden freddy mentioned that how dangerous he was, was the fact that it was phantom springbonnie who was dangerous not springtrap

Wouldn't make any sense, Freddy , Chica , BB and JJ died(assuming after evil factory 2 they didn't get out of the situation Nightmare had put them in. And also the episodes from this year only shows things of Toy chica time travel stuff) ,and why would Scraptrap even hide that from her. and woulnd't they show up if they happen to have survived? there are still plenty of reasons why your second theory doesn't make any sense. although i can see your first theory being right.

I don't know why they would want to go back to the future, Golden Freddy said something about their previous burned location in an older episode and I would have assumed toy Chica and Scraptrap would time travel to fnaf 1 or 3. We saw this back in Season 3, Toy Chica portal hopping.
