As stated in The Silver Eyes, it was stated that Foxy had a weaker endoskeleton, or something like that. Now, if that carried over to the games canon, then that is a perfect explanation to why Mangle could be torn apart easily. But, that's just my two cents. There are a couple of reasons that Mangle could be broken: (Well, like three, from least likely to most likely) 1) Unhappy customers. This theory makes some sense, but isn't the most sensical. 2: The cause for Mangle's severely mutilated state, as noted by Phone Guy from the second game, is due to the exposure to toddlers, who would constantly rip them apart, piece by piece, forcing the staff to reassemble them after every shift. 3: Mangle is also rusty. In Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, Mangle's design remains the same as its original, however for realism purposes, its design receives specular refection. Revealed in Ultimate Custom Night, Mangle is shown to be aware of the fact that they are in severe disrepair. 4: The reason mangle is torn apart is because it was a project being made during the time of FNAF2. They scrapped the idea of toy foxy/mangle meaning that it wasn't stable and didn't have strong joints even to stand up meaning that kids could mangle its parts up. 5: The reason why Mangle was torn apart, is because Mangle was intended to be a building animatronic, but kids messed it up, that's how it is.

What the story seems from my side: They remembered how the children used to love the animatronics the most and made him fully kidfriendly. To save money, they used the face and arm of the older Bonnie model to create parts for toy bonnie. They then decided to make a toy version of Foxy as well who was named as toy foxy, specially made to play with children as the older one was too scary to be child friendly. Then they made toy Chica and finally toy Freddy. They kept the older models in a room and named it as 'Parts/Service’. They repaired the old marionette, whose spirit (first victim of William) once again received divine powers as he was still the one to control the other animatronics. Toy foxy, which was kept to play with children suffered a lot, the children played with her too much and broke her, everyone seeing her destroyed and broken made fun of her, she had mangled too much and the company also jokingly named her mangle as mangle literally meant severely destroyed. s. On Night 1, the spirits of the 5 more children that William killed are stuffed inside the toy animatronics and they go out to explore until they find you in your office your office and come to scan you, at this you have to wear a Freddy mask which makes them think that you are an animatronic just like them. HOWEVER, on night 2 an old mascot also appears, bright red body, 3 rd highest scan IQ, sharp teeth and a decaying suit, obviously its foxy. The oldest version of foxy that was sort of destroyed by spring bonnie and now is a completely withered and decaying suit, now referred to as withered foxy. Yes, the older models might have become withered but still they were able to move freely and find humans to stuff in an animatronic suit. W.Foxy also has the highest scan IQ after Puppet and Freddy and he can see you through the mask and can only be scared by being flashed with a flashlight. The toys once again are there on night 2. Night 3 is a bit cheesy, in this night W.Bonnie and W.Chica start attcking whereas W.Freddy and Mangle start exploring (Rarely attacking). On night 4, the same animatronics but this time W.Freddy, Toy Freddy, W.Foxy and Mangle start attacking and W.Bonnie, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica and W.Chica go exploring (attack a bit less often). On Night 5, all of them are fully active and anyone can attack. Now depending on how the game is played, we can earn a 6th night shift in which the last dead child is stuffed inside the decaying Fredbear suit, meaning that now there will another animatronic, Fredbear or Golden Freddy

Oh how much I like this. I'm really happy about this song making a comeback recently and since it's been a while and everyone now has a lot more characters to use, old songs like this are good for at least a little more variety (and the fact that they're absolutely awesome songs so seeing them get used again is really nice). I think my favourite part about this animation is the scene with the kids actually taking Mangle apart because I don't remember anyone animating that way back when this song was new (it's been a *really* long time since then so I could very well be forgetting something), and we all know how important that context is to her general story (the look, the name, all that stuff). And of course the parts with the rabbit (I still haven't decided on what I should call him since he's getting used more and more outside of the VR origin so I'm really conflicted about it and I'm really sorry for rambling a lot here). I dunno, it's just very refreshing.

Actually in fnaf 2 if you hear closely to the phone guy (which I think many people don't cause they simply see the video from yt and get the instructions) you will see that mangle's name was also foxy and she was the replacement of the original foxy but they decided to change her up a bit cause the original foxy form was creepy (that is why she is white and not red 😂) and they let kids play with her and the kids used to disform her everyday and the staffs had to fix her every night (lyrics- they all gave up on trying to fix me everyday)at some point they got tired and didn't fix her anymore after that she got even more broken and then the staffs started calling her "mangle"... I know it's sad...

plus, mangle does not have a gender. Originaly ppl called it a „him“ because the phone guy called it a him at some point, and because its foxy whos a male but just in new. But some people call it a „she“ because of its body and colours. Tho, we have never really seen mangles body statue at all. Well other than that, Id call mangle a it. Since the creator of fnaf even said that mangles gender is „yes“. Same with funtime foxy, who has lipstick and all but still looks like a male. If we look at toy chica for example we clearly see her as a female, same with Ballora. But as i said, some animatronics just dont seem to be gendered at all
