You had one job, one job, and you screwed it up, if you can't move the head move the neck, if you can't get the front arm on pose, use the back one, if that don't work use the hip, use the rotation tool more often its made for this, and if that don't work, change the pose.

Well posing an animatronic (fnaf) is a different story because they have to be stiff cause there not like humans where their skin, bones, clothes can bend. Animatronics are plastic and metal well i guess you can still pose good useing them.

Domix012 I’ve never seen that. What I’d do is, Verify the Cache. There should be videos on how to do that in steam. If that doesn’t work, go into the steamapps in your folders like before, should be videos on how to browse that and delete your SourceFilm Maker folder. Reinstall it then it hopefully should start working again.

Fingers / Hands can be tedious, but after getting the notch, it's rather simple. It is just annoying that it's starting to eat performance when you are moving a finger. Simple solution is to cut and shorten the shot you're working on.

@steg38236 жыл бұрын
Could be multiple reasons. Could be a broken model, which can be fixed by finding a working one on the workshop. You could also have local rotation on. Which if you don’t know what that is that’s not the problem. Or maybe your using the wrong item to move it. The workshop fix should work for sure tho

The pose is stiff. Not putting enough time into the spine is probably the biggest flaws I see in most SFM artist, the spine takes up like 60% of the whole body and is where you emphasize the line of action, If you don't play around with it enough you'll end up with a bad pose. Just one stiff part in your poster will make it stand out to a trained eye. One thing that really bugs me is where you placed the hand relative to the leg, it's supposed to rest on the leg, but you placed it in a way that is just is not comfortable. No one would rest their arm that way. His neck should also be resting down more. He doesn't look relaxed, he looks timid. You shouldn't rush tutorials. You had a good start, but the rest of the video falls flat on its face. I know this is just the real basics of posing, but if your example in itself is not a good example of good posing, it ruins the whole point. Sorry for big rant, but maybe don't rush videos so you can advertise your twitch channel.
@steg38236 жыл бұрын
My stuff focuses more on concept then it does accuracy. I already covered the whole spine thing early on. I’m thinking about just taking poster footage instead for tutorials since that might be easier
