not related but, im new to the mod. how do i get knights of the red death? and black grail knights? i dont see them on any build tree or tech or regiments of renown

Absolutely, its like this cherry on top for selecting a Lord and give him more thematic approach. It would be immensely cool if each LL gets one specific Regiment that only they have. I like to imagine those are the Bodyguards of that LL then

There are a few mods that do it but I would love to see in SFO Vlad being able to recruit empire units. I know you can recruit a few crossbows and handgunners at the moment, but I would like to see that expanded. Maybe every empire city you take you can increase the cap. And some way to increase relation with the empire, I know there are ways to improve it but they all come way to late in the game after they have all already declared war on you.

yeah, i very recently finished a entire campaign as Vlad, and the bonuses you get from both Lahmian-bloodline and researches are USELESS even if you somehow managed to rush the Lahmian-Bloodline tier-2, it still isn't enough to reduce the aversion each elector-counts has for you. and the research come WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TOO LATE to be of any use. by that point, i had already taken over the entire south of the empire (including Reikland) and i was starting to invade Couronne while festus was wrecking the norse of the empire. there's really no diplomacy going-on with the Vampires, i'm guessing CA might change that if Neferata is ever released tho'

@@Rise65487 Yeah lets hope we get Neferata and her ladies plus their mortal pawns - in Tw 1 and 2 you got a huge boost to diplomacy by fighting the Chaos Invasion which is not there in TW3 sadly

@@charleslister8465 i wouldn't be surprised if Neferata and her yaas-queen gang joins the game with the Chaos-manlets. because both the Blasted-Wastes and Plain of Zhar are empty despite having both the Silver-Pinacle and the Chorfs settlements of predilections. it entirely depend on if CA will keep doing their "[faction] VS [faction]" type of DLCs like they used to make for TWW2

@@Rise65487 Maybe - she has travelled alot and spent quite some time in Cathay - and her favourite is also Cathayan....I hope she has something like the HE Influence mechanic and the ability to recruit human living heroes as Swains. Kislev had a vampire Tzarina from her bloodline so be nice if there was a landmark in the captial to free her from the ice

you can rush the tech where you get better relationship with empire, and just keep sending Karl gifts and dont declare war on Karl or Gelt. eventually you can have an Empire outpost as the VC. Its OP as hell since you are VC with artillery or ranged units that they are normally lacking

Man, i just waited your counts video and here it is! I wanted to ask: why vampires have a lot of features with zombies , but doesnt have a proper zombie units? Is it lore restricted to have a zombie dragons or something fun like zombie lizards or zombie giants?

this all looks really good, i've been loving the counts recently! and its good to see isabella has some neat unique things to her as she's always felt like the lesser version of vlad's campaign in vanilla

I was really hoping(but not expecting) for there to be a way for vlad or isabella to join the Empire. Like, get enough friendship with Reikland or other elector counts, and be able to be officially instated AS an elector count of slyvania. For multiplayer, this would be somewhat of a benefit as you could have vlad fill the elector count position of drakenhof and all the imperial authority benefits that go with it. Undead VC units along side empire artillery/mages.

Hurrah Vampires! Good selection of new units esp new blood Knights on foot, on Hellsteeds and Z Dragon - sorry don't get why Drakenhof Guard are not generic to Sylvanian vampires! Totally agree with the disdain for that nobody Ghorst! So many great lore characters and they choose him... ughhh

not sure if this just vanillacoded and can't be changed, but it would be nice if the books of nagash could be aquired by allying with the faction that owns the settlement. its quite annoying, that you have to fight the dwarves as Vollkmar to get the one in Karak eight Peaks

I’m excited about the 95 speed cav. I’m a big cav fan, but I’m afraid they might be too good with their overall stats. I don’t like zombies, so I don’t care they get armor, but I do like crypt ghouls getting it.

Cav is in really good spot in SFO. Effective when in right position/situation and weak when in bad (surrounded or playing passive). Hexwraiths are elite, specialist cav. 95 speed is part of their specialisation. And if you like crypt ghouls reasearch their tree line for buffs, pick Stigoi bloodlline, recruit their lord and buff crypt ghouls with him. Then watch them eat all empire infantry (all but GS) for breakfast :)

I hope the SFO team removed or lowered the aversion for Kemmler and Chaos Factions. What’s the point of +50 diplomatic relations with them if their aversion is completely outweighing it lol.

I love SFO and all, but I'm not understanding.. none of the faction changes mentioned are any different from the current live build, are they? I've been watching this series, and nothing seems like it's different than what I've already got running in my campaigns now...

Well it seems that you actually understand it correctly :) I also don't see any changes in VCounts between beta and 1.0. Consider this vid as a advertisement for a TWWH3 players who never played beta or SFO at all :)

SFO virtually did nothing to improve Vlad/Isabella, not compared to what it's done for characters like Tyrion, Malekith, and Franz... I'm so dissapointed, they even removed the vampiric agent mechanic in favour of streamlining the boring 'rites' one Mannfred previously had exclusive access too.

@@VenrisSFO dude, I am literally hovering over the building tooltips right now, VC vlad WH3, ALL military buildings, both recruitment AND support, give minus control, for a total of -13 control. Blood tax building alone gives minus 15 growth to all adjacent provinces. So yeah, setbacks.
