Sobrang agree na nakatulong yung pandemic para sa pag build ng roster. Major upgrade yung length talaga. Dati kasi Bright has muscle.pero pagdating kay Anj 50 50 pa pagdating sa rebound. Pag linabas naman sya si Prado sobrang hirap sa length and stability kaya need ni Kobe tumulong talaga. Ang ganda ng rotation ni Diof Lucero and Tamayo to protect the boards. Laking advantage ni CJ kasi dati sila lang ni Ricci ang match up. Ngayon same team na and panalo na off the bench si CJ considering captain sya ng UST before. The 4 rookies from NU ang bonus. Kasi usually pag galing HS adjust ka sa new coach and system. Bihira yung pagdating mo sa college basketball same.coach and system. Advantage din sa.confidence nila na may tiwala.coach sa kanila vs the need to earn pa yung trust which takes time din. Eto na yung bunga ng pag start ni coach Bo ng Winning culture/ tradition. To make us believe na kaya nating manalo ulit. UP Fight!

Even si Alarcon, who really did a lot for us on the playoff games, wala sya dapat sa team kasi one year younger sya kina carl. Dahil sa two year break nagkasabay yung rookie year nung NU boys.

I was in the game last Friday and when I saw Malick Diouf doing damage nung first quarter pa lang I knew UP will be the champion. He was actually the missing piece nung Game 2 ( Great game naman pinakita nina Lucero and Spencer nung Game 1). Malick served well his purpose/role sa team nung Game 3. Kudos to Coach Gold, too.Saludo din ako pagka-kalmado nya. With the players and the system that we have right now, the future for the UPMBT is even brighter! (It's nice to know that there's Arvie Bringas pala who played in the UAAP. I will check on him. Ka-last name ko sya. Did he play for UP? FEU lang yung nasa articles.)

Congrats to UP. Destiny, indeed. Honestly, I had a feeling that the in-in-then-out shot of Nelle in the end game of their win-or-go-home game was somehow "a sign" that UP was destined to go all the way this season. And the backstory of Cagulangan is very interesting & perhaps inspiring to young athletes. He was recruited by DLSU but didn't get enough playing time, so he transferred, but didn't get depressed, and then morphed into a major player for his new school/team (UP) and help them win a championship.

i think kaya walang nagsasabi nga is dahil doon sa sistema ni coach tab. pero kung titignan mo nga ng mabuti, wala ibang mahugot ang Ateneo bukod kay sj belangel, ange at mamuyac compared previously na may kasamang Go, Navarro, thirdy etc. I believe they were out hustled but to say simply outcoached, i'm not so sure about that since they almost won the championship too They will get a lot stronger though, lalo na't may ganitong experience na sila. great for dave ildefonso and the other young players
