I'm not from dlsu but I hated Rabeh because of his attitude on the court. Parang puro na lang galit yung makikita mo sa kanya. But hearing his story, this man gained my respect. After seeing this interview tumaas respeto ko sa mga pro players lalo na sa journeyman sa liga. And to rabeh I really have so much respect to him after this understanding the back story of his career hirap pala talaga maging player akala mo ensayo lang at laro pa kundisyon lang pero mali. Di ganun kasimple. Mentally sobrang laki ng pressure sakanila especially outside noise na nakaka affect sa buhay nila. Lahat naman sila may dala dala yung iba nga lang mas mabibigat yung bagahe. I remember going to the Cov Courts after class one afternoon and suddenly finding my dormmates asking me if I wanted to play a full court game. To my surprise Rabeh and Nonoy Baclao just wanted to play with some dormers (come to think of it, I think poy and oping was there too). They were so humble and cool. Back in the day meron dep ep national games for hiskul. Way back 2004 we reprensented region 10 (CDO) for mens basketball. PCU rabbeh is a different beast. Nakalaban namin sila tambak kami punyeta at tong c rabbeh is young, raw talent na everytym pwede mag dunk, talagang idadakdak nya! Pra kaming mga bata kingana. Kasama cla ni mangahas yung nag lasalle. Kalaban nika finals nun san beda. Menor taganas martinez. Nalimutan ko lng sino nag champion nun. Dun din na discover c pong escobal. Pag nag laro holycross davao nun puno ang gym eh na alala ko dahil sa kanya.
