Fist Power why don't you practice by taking to sats connected by docking port into space and then separate them and then reconnect them and repeat by increasing the distance every time
@russelltalker6 жыл бұрын
Make orbit one perfectly cicular. That means if it says altitude 100km it should say that for the entire orbit. Then make orbit two match orbit one. Then comes rendevue. To make orbit two speed increase, pick a point, north south east or west. And contract it by 1 or 2 kilometers altitude. To make its speef decrease, expand the same point. Only working with that one point. And using fast forward accordingly. Tediously. Painstainkingly. Persistently. Then, and only then, when you can no longer tell if object two is ahead or behind of object one, and their orbits (altitudes all around) are identicle, switch the view mode. Zoom out. And you will see two white dots of your two objects. Then take it from there. Simly propell one object to the other in real time, directly, and forget completely about their orbits. Making the orbits circular will reduce variation in speed between the two objects as they traverse their orbits. Because of a small inevitable difference in orbits one will appear in real view to circle the other. As they drift apart because of differences in overall altitiude the radius that the one circles the other will increase. So if the orbits are elliptical the way the one circles the other will be like a the way barbed wire is spunor the way you scribble running circles. If they are circular orbits then the one will circoe the other more continuously only either getting bigger or smaller radius depending on how far apart they are getting.

Fist Power But thats so simple. If you have RCS thrusters you switch them on and use the directional arrows. Maybe work with one arrow at a time. First aligning the x axis then the y axis. Also try making the orbits as circular as possible and see if its easier to control when going to dock

I don't want to sound cocky but your version of a pro seems to me more like an intermediate player. For example what you deemed to be a pro version of docking could easily be done with less fuel and without having to move the space station, and this is in no way trying knock on your docking abilities but I just think it could of been done better.

LOL. Lot of difference when you are already an experienced person with space flight simulators. I came across this game on the internet after a long experience with Orbiter Space Flight Sumulator. If you want to do your rocket burns perfectly efficient, then you will almost never change your trajectories sidwards (you almost never need to), but always perfectly prograde or retrograde, at the right moment. And when docking or flying to celestial bodies, the trick is to know when to do you orbit synchronization, to be the most efficient.

0:22 that’s how human get to orbit 😂

You make such a late and small gravity turn. Whenever my appoapsis reaches about 25 km I am mostly almost flying horizontal.

You mean I'm a pro? Because I always getting to orbit successfully
@alasad646 жыл бұрын
Disagree with you about the Pro on the LEO. A pro should execute only one burn ( if you have stages burn right after the previous stages) to circularize the orbit with enhanced orbital accuracy ( pitching, throttle, not necessarily raising the perigee by burning at the apogee). Most of the time the gravity drag excesses the aerodynamic drag. Simulate the trajectory of some vehicles like Saturn V or Ariane 5 in the game, you'll see the delta-V savings is very efficient. Btw good video just opinion (Maybe I'm just the one who is too obsessive about the realistic of things)

It's probably easier to do a gravity turn in ksp, as you can track prograde.

I just got this game last week, I just didn’t know the point and I couldn’t leave the earth without losing the curve point I was like what? I can still get dragged back to earth? But now there’s docking and all this cool things like what I’m seeing here you can make your own space station? That’s so cool

I dont usually use prograde burns i do it with the noobs way but my orbit always be circular

I am a professional at everything. Expect for these, Docking and LEO

1:25 There is ONE case where the pro makes something like this:The case where the pro needs to get to like uhhhh another galaxy without a parts expansion

My space approach is kinda near that noob Leo first few seconds but I know how to work with retrograde and prograde burns so I won't get full bloated appoapsis.
