He put a lot of gaps between the tiger shots, where he was waiting for Fuji to jump him. Tiger shots do damage on hit or block, so the important thing to note here is the health bar. See how he ended the round with a DP? He was baiting Fujimura to give him an opportunity to throw it out from 1:40 till end of round.
