Zangief is the hardest character to get a Win with. And anyone with Kichipa skill is extremely talented. Unfortunately Zangief as a whole crippled him. Just isn't a good matchup.

Is Gill even allowed to be used in tournaments? He needs to be nerfed big time.

Nerfed?? Heck no. He doesn't have high damage output unless the Retribution mechanic is activated. In addition, he's definitely been nerfed from boss level Gill from SF3 Third Strike. He gets opened up pretty easily. Alex give him the blues ALL the time. Chun-Li and some of the other ladies cause him big headaches too! If anything, it would be awesome if he had a crush counter. THEN, he'd be a real problem in tournaments. Nemo used him in EVO 2020 in Japan actually. I actually like Gill, definitely my fav of all the characters so far. Hopefully he makes it into SFVI, if it does indeed come to pass.
