TheRico725 Alot of people would beg to differ. Spamming is when you use the same move over and over to win. You don't see him winning in tourney's by just spamming hadouken's he actually has combo's. He's applying pressure, and zoning the opponent to see what they'll do. If he know's the opponent he's fighting is high level he barely uses fireballs.

HOLY SHIT! Just looking at this guy go (especially as a life long ryu player) and i just literally yell "DAMN...hes a freakin BEAST!" I was not trying to be ironic or anything about it either (i know thats his nick name, and its sticks for a reason). He just a monster in the ring. I love how each hit that connects in SF5, even blocks, feel so hard n heavy! It really sells some moments.

really hate the "character x" is dead talk. especially with ryu, he's suppose to be a beginner friendly character with all he's moves designed around the core mechanic of the game. and should not be too powerful so player will more on once they have gathered enough experiences, and should by no means suppose to be at any of the top tier position to maintain a healthy eco system

Capcom needs to Readjust how the Ryu's V- Trigger works, When activate, It should depleted by how often the hadouken unleashed and charged (When charged hadouken unleashed they may Reduce the gauge by 20% or more ) but when it unused , it suppose to be like necalli , no deplete

All normals was nerfed(publishable), that make Ryu(poke fighter) better at offense, if the opponent fail a normal Ryu can punish it now and Ryu parry can punish normals now, season 1 parry was useless against normals(too slow recovery).

Contém Games yah it sucks, they are forcing people to either relearn their character that they mained for almost a year or pick up someone new. ive never mained ryu ever in any sf game thru the series. onky reason I mained him in sfv is because the game had a slower paced and it seemd to fit him perfectly. and he has that nifty parry 😝 in afiv I main abel, ssfiv ae I mained ibuki, sf2t guile, never played 3rds and in alpha 2 it was akuma. apart.of me wants to suck it up and play again. my channel has been lacking sfv content. he did gain some cool stuff, just that he seems a frame slower now. it feels weird haha. like I said im too lazy to try

Ryu isn't dead, in fact he's still versatile. Problem is Guile's zoning is outright busted. In Season 1 Guile was solid, reliable and consistent without being OP, ergo he could hold his own against the best. Remember, NuckleDu won Capcom Cup 2016 and he's a Guile main. This was still Season 1 at the time too.

I always thought chip damage was stupid. Also, why are people just allowed to spam projectiles? Projectiles should have a cool down to prevent players from spamming them. Also, adding a recharging stamina bar like in ufc or dark soulds would be interesting.

I have played SF5 for almost a year. After S2, I gave up since Ryu is much more weaker than before especially standing light kick. I played SF4 again (seldom played before). I found SF4 is much more interesting, more flight stages, more characters, more CA animations, more quicker on loading game, arcade mode...........I finally understand why people love SF4 more than SF5, Suck Capcom

Contém Games i play him, and i can say his footsie game isn't as good. Added 2 frames to cr mk (stays out longer) and his st lk range nerf hurts his conversions/footsies. So cr.mk is now his farthest normal. Dp nerf also sucks alot too :(

Daigo will NOT play Guile for CPT 2017. He has said it in his own talk show that Guile doesn't fit his personality and that it's too easy to win. He felt depressed playing Guile because he played to win and he wasn't having fun. Playing Ryu gives him the same feeling as being a kid again. He doesn't care about winning or losing anymore, he WILL stick with Ryu.
