IRenegadEEEEE bwahahaha after sf4 he stepped it up. no kid after sf4 shoryukens and whiff punishes don't exist anymore. Which means akuma being a high pressure character will always excel it has nothing to do with him increasing in skill in fact his akuma has gotten worse in sfv but it's still more than enough to wash up these scrubs with. That was funny I enjoyed that

Tokido fully mastered this Akuma which was considered the worst. After Evo every opinion with this Akuma was changed.

Nah I disagree with the whole "Tokido, give him a chance!" Rashid is an OP & often cheap character. When you think about it, Akuma is 20x Harder to Master then Rashid. Think about just how much time Tokido put into mastering Akuma, both offense & defense. A LOT of time, but also maintaining his skill! Rashid has Every advantage in match-up, plus he's much easier to Master & has better Health & a Very "Guaranteed Damage" V-Skill, which he can use 1-3 times a round! Tokido deserves this Tournament win & Title more than Most & more than Oil King. #RealTalk

Yea admitted that in SF2 & SF3 days he was into cheap stuff. But he's changed a lot since those days. Buttom line it takes MUCH more effort to Master Akuma then Rashid in SFV. Rashid is borderline cheap, OP, has more health than Akuma. Also his Mixers don't have stop frame on Blocks which is Also cheap. If You saw the Grand Final, Tokido did Nothing cheap with Akuma, he had very good reads & Used good judgement. It's low to judge someone on the merit of their past selves. He deserved to win this & the fact he used Akuma to do it was very impressive. I expect Rashid to be Nerfed in Season 3. Akuma is made of glass so ANY good Akuma plays good D, not only good offense. in Tokido's example, he has he perfect balance. I got nothing but respect for Tokido, he puts in work, masters a VERY Difficult character to master. On the other hand, look at the Rashid armies... SMH

Rashid deserves some SERIOUS nerfing imo. Make it so SFV is a more or less even playing field. That way You won't have The Top 7 tier that Destroy anyone & those Rashid, Karin, & Cammy armies. That would be the ideal SFV: An Equal opportunity playing field. What Tokido did was Incredible considering how small of a chance Akuma stands with small heslth & HIGH damage

He doesn't have a comeback v-trigger, he doesn't have big damage, his main mixup is throw or shimmy he is just a solid well-rounded character with good anti-airs and normals, now Akuma? He can activate v-trigger and delete your health in one wrong 50/50, that's why Rashid never won a premier tournament and that's why he only dominate in Asia, where are the Rashids in north america? Europe? South america? They don't exist because everyone is playing actually cheap characters like Ibuki, Laura, Balrog, Guile, etc
