I'm digging floe's offense..he's actually making me want to play the character..i'm one of the sf4 juri mains that havent been very impressed with her tools so far, but floe is using them really well

I thought her fireball pressure was dead before these youtube vids lol, also mained Juri in SF4 and was not impressed mainly cause my juri was zoner and the only execution difficulty came from FADC's and FSE, now I got to get used to these unsafe execution heavy rekka kick combos lol.

main juri too in SF4 but I can't seem to figure it out how to use her tools. I noticed floe don't do her pinwheel which i thought her main tool but now I think it is very much useless.

Hinamiyu Akazuki Yeah they made it a DP now and it can't be used in FSE chains at all>_< her medium one is suppose to have upper body invinicibility but it still loses to mid and high attacks>_

Christian Coble just cause it has antiair potential does not mean it shouldnt be able to be used in FSE... same for her qcb kick attack the flying axe kick thing, it also cant be used in FSE chains>_

Floe's Juri throw mix up is brutal. He scares the shit out of you in the neutral and then makes that throw money. I'm not sure if I saw a guy tech him once this video. He shut down the Ken run pressure and even kept Chun on the defensive and I was sure Chun was going to be an awful match up for Juri. The spacing with those normals and the meaty setups with that heavy kick were just fantastic. V trigger still underwhelms me but he makes the character look dangerous with that damage. She's starting to remind me of Cammy. Puts you in some really bad situations and rolls over you when you're guessing. Only thing is that so much of her stuff is unsafe.

No one gave her any real effort to really learn her day 1, it was like she didn't do what I wanted so she sucks. Seems like you have to have a real tight neutral game to make use of her.

i still think Juri needs a few changes. Rising Pinwheel would be better if the last hit was another normal hit instead of a downwards hit. she also needs a high fireball to bear any resemblance to the original character. and some of her air attacks seem to have messed up hit boxes.

That's generally how 'highlight' reels work. Show them versus players who are nowhere near as skilled and said player will look like the best (insert character). Floe's Vega was the same, insane during beta, when game launched he gets bodied versus competent players. I love Floe, truly. But he isn't the best anything.

I'm the exact opposite. I like the game but I'm not hype yet. There's no question in my mind the hype will grow over the years. New characters, stages, game modes, content... the community cares WAY too much about this franchise to watch it dissappear into the sunset. Especially considering the game is damn good, it just needs more.

As it stands now, maybe not; but there will be an update after Capcom Cup, and possibly plenty to follow after that. Remember, vanilla SF4 wasn't exactly fun to watch (or play imo) either. It took until super to start generating more hype and all the way until Ultra edition to have fairly balanced roster.

so many people are wondering why everyone is using Juri out of all the DLC characters so far. and it's because only people around the 3s days wanted alex (so 09erss and 16ers didn't have nostalgia for him, Guile is a linear defensive charge character that got 1 of his only 2 special moves nerfed, Balrog is cool but he is still a charge character and people don't like that , and Ibuki is not good right now in this random meta where higher health characters can take 2 mixups from her , wakeup DP or SPD and even the life back up P.S. Zangief vs Ibuki 8-2 (I'm welcome to hear opinions)

Combos aren't everything. I got to gold just using ryu and cammy yesterday with pokes. Ryu's cr. medium into hadoken or shoryuken for anti air, and cammys st. medium kick

Tell me about it I can destroy people with my Necalli and I can hardly do his combos at all thanks for tell me that combos aren't everything because it explains why I'm able to destroy people online with Necalli it gives me this mindset regardless of combos I can rapidly destroy and dismantle even the toughest players if I can keep track of what they are doing I'm currently at Ultra Bronze just have to set aside some time and I'll be silver in no time just have to make sure to keep fighting real players in ranked not bots they destroy your ability to play the game....

Not only that but when I go online the combos I practiced so hard tend to fall apart making large combos useless only small combos with easy hit confirms tend to work online the large combos usually fall apart at some point or you forget to use them trying to analyze what they are doing so hard....

+Lord Vapersmith Dracomar combos are meant for muscle memory after you see that the first hit to start the combo connects. People like ryu with his back st. Fierce kick is safe and can be confirmed into light kick to combo

I find it difficult sometimes to get the muscle memory good enough to be able to land it in online matches hopefully if I practice some of the larger combos more I can actually land those in online matches without dropping them..
