My boy Sagat better be making it into SF6 at some point. He has been my favourite character since the Alpha days. His current wise-mentor vibe he has going is the perfect evolution for his character. He has regained his calm, his honor, his spirit, his pride and his title. And gained a worthy friend in Ryu. It was Sagat who broke Ryu's mind control in SFA3. I love his character arc across the games.

David Damasceno David I disagree with you there,in fact I’m more disappointed with the new design of Sagat for street fighter V...why ? Because Muay Thai is a very aggressive and dangerous art...sagat is supposed to be beefed up and bad ass for his return to street fighter V...instead they give him new and cool bad ass moves they left him the same...just making some minor changes to his old moves set...look at akuma and ken for example they redone their moves now they are both bad ass and dangerous in a skilled player’s hands.not much has changed with sagat...no elbow chop move or backfist elbow move or a counter attack move just plane old sagat from street fighter 4 with slight enhanced critical art from sf4...Sagat should play exactly like brad from virtua fighter 5 FS...he’s the best Muay Thai fighter ever for a fighter game...however I’m glad they brought back his classic Thailand stage with the Bhuda statue laying side ways I always loved that lol

Sagat's New Outfit Is Really Badass, Tiger Rampage is Quite Nice, Only bad thing about sagat is his storyline in sf5 they could've made it like this: Adon (Which I Think Is Gonna Appear In Season 4) Returning, and challenging Sagat, but then M. Bison Interrups the Fight, Beats Up Adon and then invites sagat back to shadaloo, sagat fights him, After The Fight, Sagat Informs Namupun About M. Bison and His Past with Shadaloo, Then Necalli Appears and tries to devour Sagat's Soul, After the fight Necalli Talks About Ryu, Because of that, Sagat Goes To Ryu and Informs Him About Necalli, Ryu And Sagat Gets A Sparring Match, After The Fight, Ryu Thanks Sagat To Informing him About Necalli, What do you think?

They did an amazing job with Sagat, there is even small little details that quite enjoyed. His fighting stance (while idle or moving with footsies) is from the original Street Fighter arcade, with the obvious new visuals. Wish they had an alt stage like a night version of his SF 1 stage.

Magnificent job from Capcom on this theme and stage. Had to buy it right away. It somehow has the right feel of his original SF2 stage (which can't be said of all the remodeled stages), yet feeling fleshed out and modern at the same time. To anyone who hasn't bought this stage, it feels AMAZING to play on. I don't mind paying, if it's quality, and this is QUALITY!

The thing that was always different about Sagat's theme's was the odd time signatures. They were in 11/4 which gave them a really unique vibe. Now this new one is just 4/4 it does have the same feel.
