I have all the respect in the world for Steph the Chef… He is easily one of the best to lace up and step on to the court, hands down. However, pound for pound, not quite, still MJ ALL DAY/Everyday… The topic is Pound for Pound, The Best Player. Pound for Pound is necessary for boxing due to so many weight classes, therefore in regards to basketball, it’s necessary in basketball because of the height factor. Let’s get to it… MJ was a dominant force offensively and scored at an enormous clip. Like, Black Jesus had so many moves in his arsenal. A center’s footwork like Hakeem the Dream, respectful handles, one of the most explosive 1st steps ever, outrageous hops, speed, and quickness. Moving right along, what makes Mayweather so special, to hit and not get hit, DEFENSE. MJ’s defense was so serious, ferociously displayed on a nightly basis. Not even a whole handful of players can say they led the league in scoring and won the defensive player of the year, however MJ would be one them. MJ packed a knockout punch because Black Jesus was so clutch, knocking opponents out. MJ won 3 back to back, and did that twice. Do yall know how difficult it is just to win back to back Chips, come on Man. We talking POUND for POUND, from statwise to the eye test, MJ is that Dude…

Defense of an individual is 20% of the game in a 5v5 game. Is true that Curry is not a great defender but that doesnt mean you can abuse him every play, you can build a defense in which his defense creates a missmatch for his team just 5 or 10 plays per game. On the other hand his offense is the most impactfull weapon of all time even over Jordan or Kobe. That makes things a bit more even.

It's not so much him breaking the record that's so impressive, it's the way he did it. I watched both Ray and Reggie's entire careers and they were nowhere near the level of all around shooter and player that Steph is. I agree fully with Acho. In fact, I think if Curry wins 2 more titles with finals MVPs he's in the debate as second best ever with Lebron. If he manages to win 3 more chips with MVP he's gotta be considered with MJ as GOAT. Chances are he won't pull it off, but he's still young enough, skilled enough and in a good enough franchise to where we can't say it's impossible. It'll be interesting to see how the next few years play out for him. If they win it this year and he wins MVP of the league and finals...that'll definitely jump start the discussion of his place at the table of GOATS.

Basketball was a shooter game from the jump, there was no dunks and all that flash when it started... than Bill & Wilt era changed the sport and made it all about the paint all the way till Kareem who perfected it with the Sky-hook than Jordan changed the game and made midrange jumpers the bread and butter of the sports all the way till Kobe finally Curry Changed the game and made the 3 point shot the number 1 option for game. bring the sport back to its roots so for all these ol' head who claim Curry taking the sport away from what it should be need to have a quick history lesson cause they are tripping Curry just brought the game back to where it was meant to be which is a shooters game

Other superstars NEED FMVP to validate their status (in the top 10 of all time). However, we all can put Curry in top 10 of all time despite lacking this subjective honor. Wiley say nobody cared about 3pt record. Yet Curry made people care. Since his status is embedded into our collective hivemind as among one of the greatest of all time. We care about everything he accomplishes. We care that he turned, as Wiley implied, "a whatever record" into an "OMFG" big deal. We didn't care that Ray Allen broke the previous record, but we do now that Curry did it. Because Curry is super special. He is the difference maker, the icon of basketball this generation. Legendary people make even simple things seem legendary. Curry is one of those legends.

Look Folks , Acho is out of his mind . Curry has plenty of shooting records and is the GOAT shooter Of All Time clearly . He is the only Unanimous MVP . He is the 3 ball Scoring King . But the Greatest Impactful Basketball Player Of All Time ? Uh , not so fast . He is not even close . He has struggled on Defense for most of his NBA career , and is not an All Defensive Player . Curry has excelled in the Jordan , Kobe Shaq Triangle system that Steve Kerr played in , and learned from Phil Jackson that Kerr has implemented as the Warriors system since 2015 . That 2016 / 73 - 9 Warriors team was no fluke . Curry would struggle in a primarily ISO ball system that Lebron or KD prefer and have ran most of their NBA careers . Curry has never won a Finals MVP and never will . They don't give that award out to only offensive players . That award goes to the Most Impactful TWO WAY Player in the Finals about 99 percent of the time in the last 40 years . Look at the names folks . All really good 2 way players . 2000 Shaq 2001 Shaq 2002 Shaq 2003 Duncan 2004 Billups 2005 Duncan 2006 Wade 2007 Parker 2008 Pierce 2009 Kobe 2010 Kobe 2011 Nowitzky 2012 Lebron 2013 Lebron 2014 Kawhi 2015 Iguadala 2016 Lebron 2017 KD 2018 KD 2019 Kawhi 2020 Lebron 2021 Giannis Lebron James is clearly the Greatest Impactful Basketball Player ever . He has or will have Iconic records that are unheard of , unparalleled , unmatched . Lebron has 4 Unanimous Finals MVPs for 3 teams , in the West or East , within 2 seasons each , with four different 15 man rosters , and four different Non HOF Coaching Staffs . He beat the Greatest Regular Season team down 3 - 1 against the 73 - 9 Warriors in the 2016 Finals with a Rookie Head Coach Ty Lue , and mostly role player team mates . Lebron will be the Scoring King in the Regular Season , and Playoffs individually by next season . Lebron will be the ONLY Pro World Sports player ever to have statues and his number retired for 3 teams . Joined one of the worst teams in NBA history from 2011 - 2014 in 2015 . Made personal GM moves for key players . Then made the Finals from 2015 - 2018 four times in a row . The Greatest team turnaround in NBA history . Lebron traded his older Cavs team mates mid season in 2018 for younger unproven Players from a losing Lakers team , developed them to Championship form , and STILL made the 2018 Finals. Went to the Finals 4 seasons in a row twice with 2 teams in an 8 year period . Will be the only Player in NBA history to be Top 10 in 3s made in the a Regular Season , Playoffs , and Finals when he retires , that has played and defended any 5 positions . Lebron is the only NBA player ever to be unofficially a Player / Head Coach / GM / Player Evaluator / Player Recruiter / Player Developer / Game Planner for 3 teams . These are just SOME of Lebron's GOAT Records .
@DamianAntonio41263 жыл бұрын
Retired by 3 teams?? What has he done to have the Lakers retire his jersey?? The Cavs I get and the Heat sure but the Lakers?? I am not sure about that one.
@DamianAntonio41263 жыл бұрын
Also LeBron hasn't really changed anything in the game of basket ball except maybe how to Flop. Curry changed the dynamic where teams use the 3 ball more than ever. Not much teams post up anymore as the go to strategy. But he is more efficient than others and that's where he is in a league of his own. LeBron hasn't changed the dynamics of the game. He is 2k Magic just a bit stronger ,3 inches taller and less flashier of a passer. He isn't as great a passer as Magic though.

@@DamianAntonio4126 Bwahahahahaha Lebron hasn't changed the NBA Game ? Absolute nonsense . Curry plays in a system . Lebron IS the system for 3 teams so far . We saw what happened with the 2011 - 2014 Cavs without Lebron ok Bwahahaha. A pathetic mess with Kyrie leading that team . I would believe the Warriors would be a Playoff team without Curry . in 2015 Lebron returns to the Cavs , and they make the Finals ? Who does that ? There will NEVER be another Lebron James that literally can go to any team regardless of any situation , and make it a Ring chaser over night . Jordan , Kobe , Curry have been copied already pretty well . Curry isn't as unique as we would believe . Guys are studying / copying his game every day in College and the NBA , implementing his ball handling moves and shooting style into their games . Nobody ever has had the size or game to copy Lebron . Ler. Has plaued amd fdefende any 5 positons conpero g sof r Scoro g atirles amVPs and Championships aa rhe NBAs Best player for years . Uh yeah he hasn't changed the game ? Yeah sure . If anyone on Planet Earth can name a player EVER that has copied or changed the game like Lebron has creating 3 teams in his image , improving the expectations of being Championship level in all aspects of an organization as a player and management consultant ? That person is George Washington himself hahahaha This a guy Lebron that had non College Career ok. He was thrown to the wolves in the NBA on day one , and has excelled like no other . . Name a player ever that has been considered the Best player in the NBA every season for at least 95 percent of his career so far , has been a Player / Head Coach / GM / Player Evaluator / Player Recruiter / Player Developer / Game Planner for 3 Championship Caliber teams within 2 seasons each , that he has constructed personally . Name a player ever that can have the Power to trade half of his team mid season if his team isn't playing to Championship levels . No player ever has had that Power , Clout , or Impact over one organization , let alone THREE . No player ever has or ever will either . What Lebron has done to change the NBA is unheard of , unparalleled and has never been done or copied .
