not about being humble, it's seeing the bigger picture. for QBs that can't elevate a team above the sum of its parts (like mahomes, allen, etc), the only option is to make the 'parts' as good as possible - taking less money enables this. no surprise tom brady was the best at this. hopefully purdy can see it too

the jets obviously did this because theyre going all in with a win now mentality for the short window they have with aaron rodgers to contend for a super bowl. They also signed Tryon smith one of the top lineman in the nfl on just a one year deal. I don't think they're prioritizing long term success, gotta make the most out of what they can while Arod is still playing

After finding out this news, I am SOOOO GLAD WE PLAYED THE JETS LAST SEASON_ which means since we already played them last year, WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ONE BIT ABOUT FACING THEM THIS YEAR....!!🥵🥵

5:10 T.J. Watt has a total of 5 seasons with 13 plus sacks, four seasons in a row. What is Acho talking about? The T.J Watt hate is real!

@bbacc929 I'm an Eagles fan. Tj Watt is the best pass rusher in the nfl. That's not an argument.

hasson wasn’t really there in the second half of the season and we need a DE more than a pass rush LB with the DC

Whether or not the niners pay Purdy they'll likely have to really consider moving off deebo and kittle in a year or two so i say rebuild the line now, pay purdy when its time so the price doesn't go up more, then draft and develop new receivers

There must be more to this than people think. Maybe some of the rumors of internal issues is true. Maybe it revolves around Haason. I thought it was interesting that Lurie said that he expected a positive resolution pretty soon. Then he gets traded. If Haason doesn’t get that raise before the season starts, I might become even more convinced. Alternative theory: it’s simply a cap management issue. If you are getting ready to pay Smitty, on top of the expensive salaries AJ, Hurts & Goedert. Lane Johnson & Mialata is getting paid. And you just made Landon Dickerson the highest paid guard. That’s a very expensive offense. Go young on defense and draft well. Rebuild it in Fangio’s image.

Well people don’t realize is that Reddick had one more year on his deal and wasn’t even due to get paid. But he outplayed his contract and wanted a big payday. He’s on the older side and has maybe one to three years of top notch football left. I’m not mad at him for wanting to get paid, but the Eagles just couldn’t afford him, unfortunately

Talkin bout “who coulda been Deebo?” I immediately thought what Tavon Austin could’ve been under Kyle Shanahan in today’s nfl. He wouldn’t be breaking every tackle like Deebo but let’s not forget in college Tavon Austin would lineup at tailback a lot and break some nasty runs

Relax, we about to make even bigger moves. Reddick wanted out because of how Fangio wanted to use him
