I also just got in the new Hobbywing v3 max 5 8s ESC for JUICY Fruit cuz i fried her stock one! @@JohnRobinsonRC no i swapped to a wltoys a979 lipo with red jst to do the drifting part of my video, the Lithium ion was at 60% after running it at the basketball court though so had plenty of drive time left before i stopped

Nice job and intro with this one David. It is definitely one of the better cars to come along in a while. I love the headlights and it drifts really well. The built-in gyro is also a nice touch.

Yeah agreed! I prefer this one over the SG-1603. Just by a little though.

I couldn't tell much of a difference with the gyro all the way up when using the drift wheels. It steers the opposite direction but the wheels are so slick that it didn't make much of a difference for me though I was driving in a very confined area so I think I'd have noticed more had I been able to drift in a larger area like you did. Again, great job on this review.

Hiya. After watching Davids review I went up and double checked the gyro again thinking it doesn't do much or by turning into the slide it wouldn't help but it in fact helps a lot. I think as you say, maybe you needed a little more space to see for sure! Either or it's a lot of fun! 😊 👍

I agree John, as I demonstrated the gyro makes a heap of difference whether it be turned off or all the way on 👍 I found it more fun to control with it on fully or set to half way

@@PERTHWESTOZRC I'm going to test out the gyro with the rubber tires because I'm certain it'll make a huge difference. I just couldn't tell much difference with the plastic slicks installed but I think I may have been driving it in too confined of an area to really notice the gyro. The weather here is too poor to find an area to do any drifting and my garage is too cluttered still from the move.

Put a 540 in it and keep the lights! I have the truck on the way and a wltoys 540 motor mount with the motor. I think it will be a blast! Great video 👍🍻

Hi mate, yeah its possible I guess but with these types of ESC/RX combos they can fry on 3s as well. It can be a hit or miss situation miss of the time . cheers for watching 👍
