The prices are governed by open market price, pricing formula are linked to index prices. The company will make profit, only in the bullish market.

They are finding their growth through equity dilution. Whenever growth is more then roe company need funds to keep the growth. Sg do this by equity dilution. Borrowing is another way . Now i think they start increasing their borrowing.

They are not reducing the stake. Check the names of public holders. All are from se family. They just reallocated shares to family members..

Incidentally, I have picked this stock keeping in view of the underlying story. Understood, some promoters of APOLLO PIPES have bought 5% stake and it’s a good positive vibe. I’m sure it’s a long term bet. 👍

Also the stock had already run up to 10000 mark and then bonus and split were announced. So don't you think all this growth has already been reflected in the share price, rallying upto 10000 and it may remain in a consolidation phase for a certain time from now

what is the moat in the business they are just selling steel at cheap just at 2% ebidta , then if reliance or tata comes with lot of funding tomorrow and start selling same steel at just 1% ebidta , then sg mart profit will cut to half. what are your views on this? and there are big multinational companies like posco who sell processed steel to automobile companies, automobile companies don't source processed steel from mom and pop stores as stated by you

They are removing the middle man and going for economies of scale, while being the first mover here. They are disrupting the traditional distribution setup. This is possible for steel, ( and not maggi) because of huge logistics costs involved in transportation.

What makes you think that, jsw and tata steel has very low cost of production? If it were so then, tata steel would be making billions of dollar profit yoy however after 2022 tata steel's profit has turned from $5 billion+ to -ve
